ITALIAN mums out there - franca etc

DS is sick, what would a good Italian mum cook for him? First time he is properly sick, I need to cook him something, even if he might not eat it...

have pretty much constant indigestion after eating....
a bit of nausea...
feel full of wonderful chemicals.....
i love being pregnant, feel so good....don't even mind the nausea, fatigue, etc...

would that be kindergarden? yes, they reach a stage, around three, when they need some times with just children their age . Germany has a school system which is very similar to the italian one, so much so, that I'm not happy that ds is now expected to start to read at 4 and a half!!!! I suppose english is much more difficult to learn, but I'd rather him going to asilo for another 2 years... because he is not remotely interested in doing his letters and keywords, etc. Bless him, after 1 minute of me trying to help him practicing his keywords (and I do it only because I'm scared of the teacher telling me off) his attention starts to drift away!
I wonder when he'll be ready to start, I really hope he'll be like your ds and read whatever he finds! Your ds must be so proud of himself, I've always been a keen reader and it gave me hours of bliss when I was a child...

I also agree with Franca, would prefer the German way of learning through play, rather than keywords, etc. Surely your ds Franca wants to play after a day at school?
Still not sure I am pregnant, I am beginning to feel I feel to good to be pregnant....
Will test tomorrow or Friday....

oh gosh, I didn't know you had such a hard time there califrau... I've always thought that germany was such a civilized place to live... (though probably not my first choice destination, if we were to relocate... )

sounds very stressfull. difficult to live abroad, to have children abroad.

ciao califrau! It's good, had my hair coloured today! and saturday morning I'm waking up really early and will go to Milan for 40 hours for a friend's wedding! . (very happy, but also feeling a bit guilty, as usual!)

pippi, it's been ages! where have you been? how are you? the hair is better than usual, no grey hair showing! (I must confess that I really hate my hair, but today they look quite good).
