As above. It's late, and I'm too tired to be clever or witty. (Business as usual then Hmm )

If anyone needs me I'll be in the hayloft with Athos Grin

Badders - will it allow you to scoop up HBFs as you go? If so, yes. If not, then no.

Badders123 · 03/10/2016 18:47

Hmmm...bit on the small side for hbf scooping tbh...I was thinking more for potatoes and shit Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/10/2016 20:16

Night night Helen
Sweet dreams
😘

LetUsPrey · 03/10/2016 20:38

Evening wenches.

Pleased the christening went well Apricot and how lovely to be able to get everyone together like that.

Grin at fish ladybird in my hair!

I have some Marvel Avengers wrapping paper Badderz!

Dentist went well, if you discount the 25 mile round trip to sit in the chair for less than two minutes to be told that no further meds should be okay. I'm trying to look on the bright side that everything - touches wood - is okay for now. Perhaps the Paella on the radio was a good sign Helen!

Have ordered a heat reacting Harry Potter Marauder's Map mug for my sister and one for me

Also took delivery today of S1 of Poldark and the DVD of And Then There Were None.

Night Helen. Hope the headache goes.

FancyFancy · 03/10/2016 21:10

Evening, and good night helen, hope the head's better soon.

I was about to make a similar comment to helen about the trolley badders Grin

Well letus, no prizes for guessing what you'll be doing this evening. Or do I have to spell it out? I do? Really? Oh well if you insist

LetUsPrey · 03/10/2016 21:23

Jeez, I wish I was doing him that tonight Fancy.

DH is out tomorrow night though so......

FancyFancy · 03/10/2016 21:27

Enjoy the opportunity to perve in peace then letus! He really does look utterly filthy (iagw) in that gif

JaneElk · 03/10/2016 22:10

Good god I'd forgotten that^^ moment Shock and it was truly the highlight of my Christmas. That towel really couldn't be any lower could it?, not on the BBC anyway.

Sounds like you've had a most exciting day bads, I quite like funky pull along shopping trolleys, I'm not sure you should be filling it with potatoes and shit though really

Good news on the nashers letus

Sounds like you had a lovely day apes, I love a reunion occasion.

Sooo babyelk has started being well and truly 2. She insists on walking when we go anywhere on foot...I am absolutely not allowed to take the pushchair, but then when she's had enough of this pesky walking business, she's taken to sitting or lying down wherever she is, usually on the pavement but she did stop in the middle of the road the other day. Consequently I end up carrying her for miles and I'm developing guns like Santiago Cabrera. We also had a lying down screaming ab dab tantrum in the veg aisle of Aldi earlier because I wouldn't buy a tray of 48 chocolate cupcakes fgs Hmm

Such fun.

FancyFancy · 03/10/2016 22:16

So true about the towel elk. Although it was a lot lower in my head. Like on the floor.

Wine. Sounds like you need it, both to get through the tantrums & to erase the memories afterwards Grin. Can't say I miss the toddler tantrums. Teenage tantrums aren't much fun, but at least they're mercifully less frequent

LetUsPrey · 03/10/2016 22:44

Ah the days of the public tantrum. "Can I walk mummy? I promise I will hold your hand and stay with you."
Enter supermarket
Child speeds off
Give child one more chance
Child speeds off again
Pick up now shrieking, kicking child under one arm like a rugby ball
Leave basket at customer services
Go outside and attempt to place child in trolley seat without getting lumps kicked out of self (assisted by non-judgmental lovely woman at this point)
Re-enter supermarket keeping trolley at arm's length to avoid flailing legs
Ignore screaming child
Give customer at cheese counter doing cat's bum face because of screaming child the deathliest death stare ever
Continue with shopping

Fun fun times

Morning, another gloroius day here, must get moving, have loads of things I need to get from the shops today. Sadly not all of them (hbfs) seem to be available

Laters

ApricotCrush · 04/10/2016 09:47

Morning.

Re shopping trolley. I've always thought they were a bit old-ladyish Hmm but I suppose if you have a lot of shopping it would save your back/shoulders/arms etc.

Hope Helen's headache has gone.

Lovely day here, must get some washing on the line.

MadamedeChevreuse · 04/10/2016 10:51

Coming at you via hospital wifi. Ds got checked in yesterday after mystery aching hip the night before and unable to walk that day. We have had the worst nights sleep ever and I want to die. Praying they let us go home later today.

Apparently he has a liquid filled swelling round his hip joint caused as a reaction to the vile cold virus we both still have had two weeks ago. Confused

bads trollies are a bit old lady like but a) old ladies are cool and b) I think you should reclaim the trolley for a new generation!!!!

What else did I miss?

Badders123 · 04/10/2016 10:53

I covet one apes :)
Been to see mum, been for coffee, got all ds1s food tech ingredients, put two loads of washing out.
Might put my feet up til work.
Got to come straight back as the virgin man is supposed to be coming to sort the cable out....its been buggered for days...

Badders123 · 04/10/2016 10:54

Oh Madame! Your poor thing and poor minimadame!
That's what the Dr said was wrong with ds1s finger/knuckle last week!
Hope you get home soon X

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 04/10/2016 11:40

Morning. But have not gone to BoringOfficeJob because headache and bleurghness was still ongoing until about 9:30.

DH got rid of TheLargestSpiderInTheWorld from DS bedroom this morning. It has been ejected. So fortunately I do not have to burn the house down now. So I have a quiet day at home with no-one asking me to do anything at all. Bliss.

Elk re. BabyElk tamtrums Sad I know DS had one spectacular one that is burnt into my memory (Similar to LetUs' except I just had to abandon the shopping with customer services because there was no way I was getting him into a trolley.)

Madame so now you have a bored mindless DS to try and entertain when you're feeling rough as?

I shall now wobble off looking slightly spaced out...

ApricotCrush · 04/10/2016 11:55

Oh Madame that's awful. Hope you're both able to go home soon. Flowers

Get one if you want one Badders.

Eeek at LargestSpiderInTheWorld. Hope you feel better soon Helen.

JacobFryesTopHatLackey · 04/10/2016 13:23

I'm back. I've found you all again. I had been housesitting and contending with 3 irritating sick men and a menagerie. Schoolmouse being the actual sickest of the bunch, NewToddlermouse the loudest and Mr Mouse the one I most want to lob out of a window.

Poor you elk. I'm contemplating leaving NewToddlermouse in his own padded cell.

Ref the Assassins Creed pic mentioned upthread, it might be Ezio. The Ezio trilogy is getting a remaster for PS4/ Xbox one. It's coming out in November. It's my early Christmas present.

JacobFryesTopHatLackey · 04/10/2016 13:25

Oh Madame, I don't know how I missed your message. Flowers Wine hope all will be well and you can go home soon.

MadamedeChevreuse · 04/10/2016 14:47

We're home!!!!!!!! He appears to be fine now. Confused

Hello mouse! Good to see ya.

Badders123 · 04/10/2016 14:51

How's things Madame? X
I'm home, and I'm watching tv as my cable has been fixed! Hurrah!
