It is a gorgeous autumn morning here, so I ought to be out in the garden weeding/tidying and preserving fruit (the latter done in the kitchen - I'm not going to stew apples over a bonfire)

Poor Sigrid, hope she's better soon. DD's cat has eye problems, she has to have interferon drops in them twice a day, although they're much better than they used to be.

I was very impressed with myself today - got out the drill and screwdrivers and cut some wood and fixed both garden gates. Yay!
I had to make sure that the screws were suitably long and deep

In other news, the patio now has retaining walls.
