Hey muskehounds (copies Madame cos I just love that)
Lovely Sunday here - have been out for huge lunch with family, lazed around all afternoon (with intermittent laundry). Amazingly Mr C and I have (possibly for first time Evs) sat down and actually planned Christmas including food, presents, stuff we need to borrow/buy for guests (e.g. Buy Towels, borrow or rent some bikes). We've meant to do this for pretty much every Christmas for the last twenty years, but never get round to it, relying on last minute shopping, shouting and generally being a disorganised mess. One year he forgot to tell me he'd invited someone until Christmas Eve. Who was staying the next two nights. He also has habit of inviting waifs and strays such as divorced colleagues without asking me, so the fact we now have a houseful booked in already is 1) reassuring as can't fit anyone else in house 2) worrying as he will think 'we've got a houseful anyway'. Hopefully this year/country will be different!
Anyway, I'm all smug about actually having plans already. I imagine this is why Badders is so amazingly organised. A nice feeling.
Sorry that ds is poorly H.
MrM should definitely watch the film of your choice Madame. Whatever.
Letus oooh I'm looking forward to Poldark but have to wait til tomorrow. I think it's that episode tonight.
Bads did you ever used to buy those fruit facepacks from the Body Shop which used to peel off. My sister and I used to do them together and compete as to who could get biggest bit of 'skin' off in one piece.
Wicked hope you're feeling well today after the 🍷.
