As above. It's late, and I'm too tired to be clever or witty. (Business as usual then Hmm )

If anyone needs me I'll be in the hayloft with Athos Grin

Hellooooo!
Thank you for the lovely b day wishes
Dh and I decided not to go away for the night - or at least to postpone it to nearer Xmas Smile
So we decided to go via tram (exciting!!) to the nearest big town - I haven't been for about 3 years!! Shock
First time on the tram!
Bought a new robe and pjs and dh bought me some hotel chocolat chocolate Grin
Went for brunch
Went to look at all the Xmas decs in John Lewis - very festive Grin
Got one of the £10 dine in marks meals - going to have that later, yum yum.
Am on the sofa, eating chocolates and watching Robin Hood: prince of thieves
Grin
"Something vexes thee?" Smile

Badders123 · 08/10/2016 15:05

Ooooh comtesse - Xmas will be fab!!! So pleased your sis can come out to you
Letus - glad you are feeling better
Mouse - I was soooo tempted by various Star Wars things for the boys today but I resisted not my strong point
Smile

LetUsPrey · 08/10/2016 15:07

The nerf guns sounds amazing! They can be Christmas presents for them both.

What do you get a 15 year old? Also, how do I have a 15 year old (well, imminently anyway)?

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 08/10/2016 15:59

Glad you had a good day Bads Smile

Been to Stockholm for lunch with a friend and also managed to splurge on a kitchen towel Grin

You cant possibly have a 15 year old Letus Confused

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/10/2016 16:09

stormtrooper nerf blasters they're £12.75 atm. letus Mr Mouse (26) and I (27) had a great time playing with them when the boys were in bed. So I reckon a geeky 15 year old would love them.

I can't resist star wars stuff either. Especially the tsum tsums in the Disney store. I bought myself a Boba Fett one.

I love that towel ww. Great print.

And your day sounds perfect badders. Alan Rickman, Kevin Costner, Sean Connery - what's not to love.

LetUsPrey · 08/10/2016 17:45

Actual lol at the child bride comment Grin

Sounds like you had a very well-deserved lovely day Badderz

Love that towel Wicked!

Thanks for the link Mouse. I am definitely getting them for me the DC.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/10/2016 21:03

Alan Rickman, Kevin Costner, Sean Connery - what's not to love. Hmm Kevin Costner. Could live without Sean Connery too. Alan Rickman, on the other hand.... Grin
(I admit, it's entertaining enough as a film, but Kevin Costner just makes me cringe. So does their weird graps of English geography - Dover to Nottingham by nightfall, via N Yorkshire (Malham) Maybe they used the wormhole/rocket powered Muskehorses that appeared when we managed to notice plot on TM Grin)

Thanks for the flamethrower LetUs though I think I'll use the water cannon this time {grin]

FancyFancy · 08/10/2016 21:11

It was an entertaining film, but with your critique of their grasp of English geography helen, you're getting dangerously close to discussing plot etc Grin

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 08/10/2016 21:14

I had a huge crush on Christian Slater at that time GrinHmm

Badders123 · 08/10/2016 21:16

Who's discussing plot!?

Desist immediately!
LOVE that film...cheesy accents and all
And AR acts everyone else off the screen
Well I'm in bed
Knackered - as I always am these days Confused
Night
Night

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 08/10/2016 21:20

Night wifey Smile

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/10/2016 21:27

Oh yes - with you re. Christian Slater in that era wicked v. pretty Grin
I'll mention plot if I want to. Grin But yes - AR makes the film worth watching. He made most things worth watching tbh. Sad

FancyFancy · 08/10/2016 21:29

Ooh yes Christian Slater ww - yes please Grin He's rather hot in Churchill - The Hollywood Years

FancyFancy · 08/10/2016 22:44

Fucking hell helen - now you're doing the witchy thing Shock

AR was the best bit about the film - utter genius

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 08/10/2016 23:36

Yep fancy, that's me Hmm

Morning wenches.

Alan Rickman as the Sheriff - awesome Grin

And what a way to start the day - gorgeous picture of Santi followed by the Batch

One wash out, another on the way, supposed to be doing the ironing in a bit. Rock and roll.

MadamedeChevreuse · 09/10/2016 10:35

Hmm - not sure about the weird demonic red lighting in that santi pic...

Nice razor ad letus Grin

While we're at it, something I've been meaning to ask you all for a while...what do we think of the male lead in Gotham?

Badders123 · 09/10/2016 11:23

Too....much.....chocolate....

I'm not ironing today. Fuck it. It's my b day weekend :)

Badders123 · 09/10/2016 11:54

In my defence, I have been to see mum, done the breakfast dishes, put the dishwasher on, sorted some washing and put the oven on self clean...
But I think that might be all I do :)

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 09/10/2016 12:30

I don't think i have an opinion madame Grin he's ok I suppose, but I wouldn't got out of my way. you'll be pleased to know that Hawkeye was names as DS's favourite avanger this morning. That will probably last for about 1 hour, but you know... I thought of you and grinned Grin

Hello Badders - I broke my chocolate ban yesterday with a bit of 70% Green & Black. Yum. Because I'm worth it not suffering from guilt anymore over not doing any regular exercise. Though if I think about it too deeply, the stepper isn't really very hard work any more, so I think I'm conning myself slightly about its value. The bike would clearly be better because it's much harder. Still I'm good at deluding myself, so I shall carry on with the stepper Grin
