1. you have to ring at bathtime
2. you have to have no news 3.you have to feel sorry for yourself in the usa for a week (!)?
3. you have to be all drippy about he kids when your wife tlels you of any naughtiness

yes that is usually how it goes and they are ALWAYS more tired than you are

Oh and have no time to shop!

Rang at midnight
Had lots of news about outings with gorgeous women
Was raving about what a great time he was having
Just laughed when you told him of naughtiness and said "oh well not my prob, I'm here"

and the shoppings great

no if hte kids are crying int he background he goes all mushy and "I hate to hear them crying.."

Oooh! I've got another one! Whilst he's away, you arrange to stay with your parents. DH then tries to insist that you come back early from your trip (missing out on a home cooked roast dinner) because he will have missed the children too much (NB it's the children he's missed). However, you are not allowed to suggest that he come back early from anywhere in order to see the children before bedtime etc.
