Check and double check before believing their verified dates. I've booked a holiday after looking at their published dates and it turns out they were incorrect. They've not had the courtesy of replying to my calls or emails either!

I'm not expecting any replies, this is just a word of warning.

Cittigirl had been on this site years under a different name. It's how we met and became friends..

I won't bother clicking on the dates site, it sounds shite. Always check with the school or LA.

As different schools have different inset days, I find anything generic is never likely to give the right dates. Also some schools will have different start dates for different years - at DSs secondary school years 7, 11 and 13 go in the day before the rest of the school etc.

What's with all the troll hunting? Just take note that the websites a pile of wank, don't click it and report the thread if you think it's sock puppetry, people love to think the worst of people.

Well this is hilarious! I haven't checked Jason's website. Currently thinking about creating my own website with correct dates that encourages parents to get in touch. Or would that not work as well?Grin

I have known Cittigirl for nearly 12 years in real life - most def not a troll! She just had a name change recently.

She was doing everyone a favour by warning about the crap website - jeez some people on here are very quick to make not so nice comments!

I've just checked on 10 different schools on this website. They are ALL wrong.

The 'verification' clearly isn't taking place which begs the question why you think it's ok to lie on your website.

Dodgy sites like this concern me as a parent and anger me as someone who works in a school.
