Cardi girl, spreadeagled across the car seat has disappeared completely.

I only had the ASA letter, nothing from the company at all. Still, I guess they've changed the pictures which is the main thing.

WelshBoris · 01/02/2007 16:30

I must have must the furore on this. I did wonder when I saw the catalogue if someone would have a go at them

SoupDragon · 01/02/2007 16:32

I presume any reprints of the catalogue will be amended though.

I've just checked the ASA website but haven't found their report on this yet. Glad the pictures have changed. Yay, us!

And I didn't hear direct from NAS either.

Just for information though - the children photographed on the beach in the new Early Learning Centre catalogue are wearing clothes by No Added Sugar. But these are nice photo's and not a hint of seediness anywhere!

Budababe · 07/02/2007 13:27

Well done you lot!

Gobbledigook · 07/02/2007 13:31

I just don't get why they feel the need to put them in make up. It's horrible.

Did anyone see that ballroom programme last night I think? I didn't watch it - I couldn't bear to. Saw a clip on Richard and Judy and they were putting fake bake on them - sick.

southeastastra · 07/02/2007 13:33

the ballroom programme wasn't sick at all. they all wear make up for dancing and have been for years

PinkTulips · 07/02/2007 13:33

little boy is still huddled in the corner though

and i got no personal response either

Gobbledigook · 07/02/2007 13:34

Well I think it's gross - putting fake tan on 8 year old girls. Bleurgh.

PinkTulips · 07/02/2007 13:36

children doing those dances in the first place makes me uncomfortable though... alot of them, the latin ones in paticular, are very sensual and sexually suggestive. and the make up is disgusting

deaconblue · 07/02/2007 14:46

I think it was this company being discussed on BBC breakfast TV this morning. It seems they have had to apologise for their inappropriate ad campaign.

deaconblue · 07/02/2007 14:47

They are still absolutely plastered in make-up and pouting like adolescents though. Strange parents who allowed their children to pose like this.

bundle · 07/02/2007 14:48

Were all 6 complaints by MNers I wonder?

PinkTulips · 07/02/2007 14:53

'only 6 complaints''.... and they didn't have time to respond to us personally

PinkTulips · 07/02/2007 14:54

soupdragon, ruby and me anyway.... who else complained directly to them?

Twiglett · 07/02/2007 14:54

full ruling and companies response here

and may I just add .. hurray

MascaraOHara · 07/02/2007 14:54

Well I'm glad we complained.

Twiglett · 07/02/2007 15:01
