Enter code PENNY at checkout for digital prints at 1p a print until 10th Jan.

If you're not already registered, email me at iamsoupdragon at blueyonder dot co dot uk and I can refer you and earn 20 free prints (you get 20 free anyway when you register)

Soupdragon ... can I ask you some questions please as I've loads and loads of pics to print but just need to get organised.

Mine were uploaded to Photoshop Elements and are all at their original size (huge!). Should I do anything with them before uploading to Snapfish? If I want to print at home, I crop to a 6 x 4 size which seems to keep the pixel size about right but maybe it's best to use the un-edited versions on the website?

Any hints and tips please?

SoupDragon · 08/01/2007 09:31

I tend to just edit stuff like red eye etc, save at the original resolution and hen upload to Snapfish. They have a digital print size which is slightly smaller than 6x4 and fits the shape of the digital photo better so there's no cropping - if you order 6x4 you lose some of the picture from the long edge. There's no need to fiddle about with the size of the photo before uploading it.

fab. I use them anyway and think they do great photos at a decent price without having to leave your house.

goingfor3 · 08/01/2007 09:53

That's really annoying as I ordered some prints yesterday!

aDad · 08/01/2007 10:42

that's unlucky goingfor3!

Just wanted to say thanks again to soupdragon, as i just ordered 46 prints for £1.45. Bargain!

SoupDragon · 08/01/2007 12:28

Must do mine before I forget compeltely and find the offer's over!

Just ordered some prints, thank you for letting us know.

i normally use snapfish too and they have always been really good.

Lucycat · 08/01/2007 12:34

Is that price for their 6x4 prints or 7x5?

Hulababy · 08/01/2007 12:43

I ordered 6x4 with it.

aDad · 08/01/2007 12:44

me too. dont know if it applied to 7 x 5. I'm guessing not.

Wheelybug · 08/01/2007 12:45

thanks for this - I have loads to have printed (back to June) so this is great. Must remember to do it....

katzg · 08/01/2007 12:47

must do mine tomorrow - usually use them and they're great

chatee · 08/01/2007 12:49

sat here doing mine at the moment...thanks x

StrawberrySnowflakes · 08/01/2007 12:51

dp emailed me thier link, i reg yesterday and got first 30 free then i can go back and do 50 more!..but at end it said place i wanted them delverd too so i could collect was not available at minute please try again later????, so am waiting to hear back from them

SoupDragon · 08/01/2007 14:19

I've only ever used the postal service but I understand you can collect them from a Jessops store if you want.

It's 6x4 and the digital format which is something like 5.75 x 4 or somrething odd - I aways change my order to this when given the option as it avoids cropping.

The "annoying" thing is I've discovered I've got 107 free prints remaining so I'm ordering the entire 2006 Dragon Collection just toget to the penny a print offer!!

OP posts:
Wheelybug · 08/01/2007 15:08

I've just uploaded 247 photos and it will only give me £4.50 off.... Was it only for a limited number the penny code worked for ?

SoupDragon · 08/01/2007 16:01

Oh bum, yes. "1p each up to a limit of 50 prints." It's in the small print on the email - only just noticed it myself.

OP posts:
Wheelybug · 08/01/2007 16:02

oh well its got me £4.50 off anyway and got me round to doing them so thanks !!

StrawberrySnowflakes · 08/01/2007 19:02

can you not reg your dp or someone else in family so you get 2 x 50 prints???

katzg · 09/01/2007 12:48

done it now - thanks

SoupDragon · 09/01/2007 12:52

It didn't deduct my £4,50!! stupid bl@@dy site. Have emailed them to complain.

OP posts:
hana · 09/01/2007 22:11

any ideas about the discout code? I put it in, but it didn't take off my total and I'm afraid to hit 'submit'......is that what you found out soupdragon?
it expires tomorrow and I was finally organised enough to upload and choose pictures.......and just want it done now!
