I'm another cold one, especially hands & feet. Thermal socks are my saviour - every day in the winter, even if I never leave the house

I'm peri menopausal - I spend all day shivering and then all night burning up.

I have been utterly freezing at work this week. Warm jumper on under suit (and other layer on top!) and still freezing my tits off. We are not worthy of them actually heating the building.

At home it didn't occur to us to keep heating on at night until it hit 11 degrees in house last night. Slept with tracksuit over pyjamas, dressing gown on, 13 tog duvet, woollen blanket over that, other dressing gown on top of that and hot water bottle - still cold!

Helen I also rock a nice pair of purple fleece lined thermal slipper boots. The floors in our house are freezing even with carpet and underlay. I hate being too hot in bed though, I'd die with heating on overnight.
