Very nice thoughtful pressies Amanda - and so many - he has had to do an extra special shop to go and get those for you. Am on holiday next week getting some Winter Sun, but hope you have a fantastic night at New Year. Good Luck!

Hey A1, it's late and you've probably gone by now but just wanted to send hugs - it can be a bit of a roller coaster this fairytale romance thing, so you probably feel a bit low because of that - I'm sure your DS appreciated what she got and realises she's very lucky - it is an important message and I don't think you DS will be harmed by the reminder - you've cheered everyone else up no end with this thread so I feel sad that you're a bit down now. Hopefully you've had a nice sleep and feel better in the morning. Good luck with the romance - I'll keep watching.

Actually, I bet your house seems lovely in comparison to his. Your house is a home with a child in it. His children probably live with his soon to be ex. And you can rattle around in a palatial house all by yourself.

Sorry dd upset you with her comments. DS1 is at a certain age (hormones, etc.) and, despite having what we thought was a lovely day and presents he really liked, he informed me last night that he'd had a rotten Christmas . I asked him later why he was upset and he said he didn't know - so I'm blaming hormones and too much chocolate!

Hope the rest of the festive season lives up to your Friday night date and do keep us updated with developments .

yULeYSEES · 26/12/2006 11:30

Agree, bet your house is nice and cosy to cuddle up with your nf (new flame )

7 year olds can wind us up, my ds1 is 9 now but when he was 7 he drove me nuts at times. Hang in there girl!!!

TinselgalacticWalrusOfLURVE · 26/12/2006 15:06

That dress is gorgeous! He will be the proudest man there!

Sobernoel · 26/12/2006 17:53

Eat two sticks of celery before the wedding - that will stop you feeling too hungry to wait for the 9pm meal, but it won't bloat you up before getting into the slinky dress.

Skylertnightholynight · 26/12/2006 19:17

That dress is perfect. Amazing. Glad everything is going so well.
Lol at Cappuccino's 'Christmas Porn'

Sigh.......................

Sobernoel · 26/12/2006 19:46

Ok, no celery! I don't like it either but it's helped me drop 3 dress sizes this year so I'm sticking with it.

jampots · 26/12/2006 19:47

what about lemon juice in water or nibbling on cucumber?
