and sorry for my cutting comment further down.

am guessing if he slept in the car he didnt get anything to eat in the morning? unless he had a stash of something in the car to munch?

SherlockLGJ · 19/12/2006 23:11

Happy for you guys the results came back as they did.

But the fact remains...............Drink Driving Wrecks Lives.

I will make no apologies for my attitude to Drunken Drivers.

hairymclary · 19/12/2006 23:11

funny how none of the outraged masses have been back to apologise for some of the insults they threw at starshakers dad before knowing the whole story.

Hope all is a bit beter for you now SS, and glad your dad is safe and sound

hairymclary · 19/12/2006 23:12

except fairytale, sorry hadn't read yours when i posted.

SherlockLGJ · 19/12/2006 23:16

Hairy

I found this on "Threads I am watching" I have time to do this because my Darling Husband is on his way home, his flight was delayed due to fog and I am keeping vigil until he gets here.

Delighted for SS that she had a happy outcome.

I for one, still miss my best friend, murdered by a drunken driver at 19. A life cut short.

Very pleased that things are not as bad as starshaker originally suspected, but that you can be prosecuted for sleeping in a car when drunk. Logaically, I can see the reasoning behind that, but i've done it on a couple of occasions (in my youth)and it never occurred to me that they could get you for NOT driving a car, while drunk.
