We had seven French people staying in our house over the weekend, including new au pair. DH's friend from Brittany was over with his wife and four kids (13,11, 7 and 5). They are lovely but it was an incredibly busy weekend!

DS came home from school with temp of 100, poor sod. He was lovely and snuggly though

Babyelk seems to have forgotten how to go to bed. This is the 2nd night in a row she's been pinging off the walls, two nights.....that seems like the foundations of a habit to me and she can Pack It In. MrElk is on plodding duty this eve though, and I'm staying in with a sticky toffee pudding.

I need a few wear the baby out ideas....she's made to walk everywhere, and has been swimming this evening. Why is she so flipping awake?? I'm knackered...why isn't she?
