It's a new term so early to bed for the little darlings & back to the Muskeperving for us wenches. New pupils always welcome if you are taking Musketeers A-Level. You 4 new boys in leather can come & sit at the front where I can keep an eye on you And no guns in class. Now FOCUS you lot.

badders I felt like that about TMs amazing SALT leaving but the one that she's been replaced by has been awesome. She's only an interim and got an amazing amount of interaction out of him. I'm quietly hopeful for the new one.

I may have quite a big wobble on the day fancy. They don't really allow parents with the kids to settle in as it sets a routine they'll have to disrupt. But I know he'll be fine. Staff are awesome and all that. The principal actually came round to discuss arrangements. I was so shocked. He got on the floor with tm and was doing his superman jigsaw with him. And said that he'd have to buy the matching batman one for the preschool room for him. So I know he's going to the right place.

apes buy a new one. That all sounds like a lot of effort.

I'm feeling a bit better today, have had toast and some soup and its all stayed down.

MrsEvadneCake · 09/09/2015 17:54

Evening all.

Thank you elk for making us comfy and all wenches for the thoughts and best wishes for DS. He had a good day. It took him three attempts to go in but he managed and it was all good from there. So now I can breathe a bit. Work were very supportive of the fact that I was a ball of anxiety and not sparkling in my usual way!

Ali how was DS? Any more incidents? It's been a week...all these nervous wenches and fab DC going back/starting...we need some HBF distraction I feel! Mouse you are very brave as I'd be a wreck about DS on a bus.

my DS has stomach migraines. They are very unpleasant and wipe him out. It's hard when a professional you've had support off leaves. I hope new pead is good.

Apes you are funny, just imagining you watering your duvet. Grin

Grin The weather's supposed to be good for the next few days, so hopefully it'll be dry by the weekend. Hmm

FancyFancy · 09/09/2015 18:35

Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better mouse, and that principal sounds lovely Grin.

Fab news that DS did go in & had a good day mintyEva, you must feel like you've earned a large Wine tonight.

MrsEvadneCake · 09/09/2015 18:48

A rum and my pjs in a bit Fancy, it's kept me going the thought of that and a bit of wenching Smile

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 09/09/2015 19:05

Evening all. Nowt particular to say, but glad school seems to have gone well for DCs today. We got the list of school clubs back today. He's not going to learn any brass instruments. Or drums.

Laters........

AnneEtAramis · 09/09/2015 19:11

I have just informed the DC that they can have the entire day off school to come for my 90 min graduation ceremony. None of them want to come because they might miss something.

Apers that made me laugh. Sorry.

Ds2 had a massive wobble today. Begged me to sign him up for a moderately expensive club, then wouldn't go in , had a panic attack and cried. Finally managed to get him in and he had a lovely time.

Right, must go and put the DC to bed. I might do a sneaky rewatch as DH not home until late. Just to prepare myself for Sunday.

We don't have any choice , every single child in the last two years learns a brass instrument. It's an excellent initiative, but not so ear-friendly.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 09/09/2015 19:55

Sorry wenches, not been in much but I come bearing the gift of a Santi pic that I'm not sure I've seen before Shock

What role can this be from, Team A? As it looks like a production shot. AND OMC it's gorgeous.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 09/09/2015 20:28

IDK! Appeared on my Twitter TL. I feel like a failure Sad

Badders123 · 09/09/2015 21:23

Mouse...Ive said it before but this school sounds amazing :) I'm so hopeful for TM. I think you have really done the right thing by sending him there. I know it was a tough decision for you. X
Minty...I'm sort of getting more concerned about ds2 and I'm not sure it's warranted or if I am catastrophizing?
In the past 2 years he has had an breathing difficulties, constant tonsiltiis, emergency adenotonsilectomy, been dx with AM and vitiligo and is still got real issues with food.
I sort of feel that - could these things be linked?
And yet...he has put weight in since his op. He is growing. He is doing well at school.
I keep wondering about private consultations with a dermatologist (I don't like his NHS one. He has a really odd manner) and a dietician.
I'm in a bit of a tizz about it really :(

FancyFancy · 09/09/2015 21:37

That Santi pic is from Dexter, the scene where he's at the sister's house & she declines to shag him. Youtube , watch from about 7 mins onwards. It was one of the video clips that madame linked to a little while back.

MrsEvadneCake · 09/09/2015 21:44

Badders doing a very quick bit of reading about Vitiligo it says it is an auto immune disease in which case I would say that they very probably are linked symptoms. I don't think a private consultation would hurt. I know it's very expensive but it does sometimes provide a more detailed and focused plan/help. It must be hard not to catastrophise, I do it with my DS and now we are going to do it all again with little DS it is taking up a lot of my brain time and emotional energy. x

AnneEtAramis · 09/09/2015 21:47

I have solved my War & Peace issue and downloaded the audio book.

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 09/09/2015 22:05

Have found out on Twitter that it was Dexter. So I watched that not 2 weeks ago!!! Bloody hell. #Alzheimersagain

Bads can you not ask for second opinion / different paed at another hospital or health authority? Or is that not something you can do?

I have just been vaxing the lounge carpet . I watched Lady Chatterly whilst doing it. There are certain bits I might need to watch again as I wasn't able to focus as much as I should Hmm. Overall thigu it wasn't as good as I was hoping.

On the subject of BBC not doing great promo / understanding the fans (yeah not really linked but am shoehorning it in...) why no mention by BBC press office of its shows that did well in the TV Choice awards? Specifically TM which did incredibly well to make the final 4 considering what it was up against? I really hope they did take note or it could be Ripper Street all over again (which by the way I am LOVING so thanks to Apes and other wenches for recommendation).

The joys of motherhood no. 303: Changing the bed at 1.45 because your youngest has decided to climb into your's before nodding off and sharing the gift of his first ever proper night-time accident.

Night all!
