It's a new term so early to bed for the little darlings & back to the Muskeperving for us wenches. New pupils always welcome if you are taking Musketeers A-Level. You 4 new boys in leather can come & sit at the front where I can keep an eye on you And no guns in class. Now FOCUS you lot.

Morning wenches. Good luck to NotSoMiniMintyEva today.

Hope you get a wonderful day to yourself Badderz.

DS2 has just told me his class start doing brass instrument lessons today. And then he said "and I get to bring home a trumpet".

This might make me feel better

Morning. I've had emerge from my duvet coccoon to supervise things round the house and I don't trust Mr M to manage without supervision.

We have a home visit from tms preschool on Friday and we can't afford to let the house get into the usual state of squalor when Mr Ms in charge. Also he needs to pick up TMs jumper and do last minute prep.

Oh minty at least MrMint is not being a cockwomble.

letus that is my nightmare.

Alibabsandthe40Musketeers · 09/09/2015 09:19

ElkforLeather · 09/09/2015 10:05

How did this morning go Minty?

Ok, Ali, Minty, Mouse and anyone else. In you pop.

JacobFryesTopHatLackey · 09/09/2015 10:30

Argh he's mixed the fucking dates up. Preschool visit is today, tm starts on friday. Fuck me, why does everything go to shit when I'm not around to supervise it??

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 09/09/2015 11:09

Oh Mouse SadAngry

ApricotCrush · 09/09/2015 11:21

Morning all!

Brew and Cake for all poorly, stressed and tired wenches.

LetUs you have my sympathy. DS is a drummer, I was so glad when he left home. So were the neighbours!

I'm not very good at photoshopping as I haven't got the programme, but this pic is so magnificent I had to have a go at him. Yes!

Hope all DC are ok at school today.

LetUs - we start brass instruments too. DS1 spent the summer talking to me about a euphonium that needs a fucking trolley. He is putting trombone as his first choice.

Ds3 a little nervous but overall very happy in reception today and wouldn't give me a kiss because he was playing with cars. DS1 said categorically I am not to hug or kiss him in the playground (y5)

Received joining instructions for my course - we will be learning about script writing - think I need to see if I can get a refund.

JacobFryesTopHatLackey · 09/09/2015 11:26

All went ok. I didn't throw up on anyone. I remembered relevant information. I only panicked a little about tm going off into the world without me, by himself, on a bus. He starts on Friday. Mr m will be picking up the rest of the uniform tomorrow.

Badders123 · 09/09/2015 11:47

Mouse...big hugs. And for you Ali.
Come and join em and minty in our cushion fort.
I'm not going anywhere near that bloody chaise side eyes elk
Well I went to a cafe for breakfast and now I have indigestion.
Home now and washing, natch.
I am never buying anything from e bay ever again! am having to escalate a case but can't do it til Saturday. Parcel still not arrived and seller is refusing to refund me.
Grr.
Another pair of jeans have a mark on but tbh I can't do with the bloody hassle and the seller calling me a liar so sod it.
Am going to watch catch up TV and veg out.

Badders123 · 09/09/2015 11:48

Sadly ds2s lovely paed is leaving (sob!)
So am a bit worried about the future for his treatment :(
The sun is out!
So I suppose I should hang some washing out...

Badders123 · 09/09/2015 13:13

I am watching old inspector morse episodes.
That's a good use of my day isn't it?
One of the e bay parcels has turned up...or should I say it's been at my local post office for the past 5 fecking days Angry
Did they tell me it was there? Did they fuck.
I might be entering hell week

AnneEtAramis · 09/09/2015 13:33

Working from home today and DH didn't need to go to work until this afternoon, so I took a little, erm, break given there were no DC. I might have to do this more often.

He isn't happy though. He doesn't like sharing.

Oooooh Anne. Grin

DGS didn't want to go to school today, and there were tears, although DD says he went in ok. I don't know how he got on. I knew yesterday was too good to last.

Biting off more than you can chew department. I wanted the king-size winter duvet cleaning, but I've had them professionally cleaned before and the charge is more than a new one would cost and they go all lumpy. The washing machine in the launderette doesn't get hot enough for my liking, so I filled the bath which we never use and washed it in there. Do you know how heavy a wet duvet is? I practically pulled my arms out of their sockets.

I didn't fancy rinsing it in the bath, so DH rigged up his ladders to lay it across and I hosed it down with the garden hose. It's now dripping and I'm leaving it out all night. It had better not rain. I'm absolutely knackered and I'm not sure I'll do that again. Hmm

Badders123 · 09/09/2015 16:57

Jesus apes.
Just buy a new one! :)

FancyFancy · 09/09/2015 17:12

Afternoon wenches, I am shuddering at the thought of all these children let loose with brass instruments. At various times in my childhood I did recorder (descant & treble), viola, piano & bugle - my poor mother Shock.

Glad all went well mouse and little panics are ok - at least on Friday you can come straight on here & wibble!

Good that DS3 seemed happy anne & you've done well if DS1 has only just stopped hugs & kisses in the playfround in yr5! Lovely Aramis pic btw.

That's sad about his paed leaving, but you never know, the replacement may be even better & a fresh pair of eyes & different experience may also bring benefits.

Now this man is never irritating

Yes, Bads, my kids would do just that. But I'm from the 'make do and mend' generation, and I just can't chuck stuff out if it's still in good condition.

FancyFancy · 09/09/2015 17:33

Grin *apricot. It makes me mad how expensive it is to get duvets washed, just encourages us to throw them out & buy new. Poor DGS - hopefully he'll settle soon.

Badders123 · 09/09/2015 17:50

Apes....will it ever be dry? :)
Hope dgs is happier tomorrow.
Both my 2 are happy s I pre ordered them the new HTTYD book. It's been quite quiet here since they opened them!
