Knob because it suggests penis, I think.
Penis is closer to door knob.

nob (posh bloke) is from "noble"

Willy = knob (according to the OED) because of the "rounded lump or ball at the end"

Iklboo · 24/11/2006 15:27

Also "nob" is old English for head.

moondog · 24/11/2006 15:30

It's bothered me too.

'knob' when referring to an idiot deffo

(Although Greeny once called DominicConnor a knob which was a little uncalled for I felt...)

Quootiepie · 24/11/2006 15:31

no, see, if you call me a knob, im either a door handle, or a willy. If you'd called me a nob...id agree

Twiglett · 24/11/2006 16:36

its knob

but have to ask why we're ignoring cod when she isn't even on the thread .. although it does make it easier to ignore her I s'pose

ignore hunkermunker

Ulysees · 24/11/2006 16:38

yes knob. Why you asking?

Ulysees · 24/11/2006 16:40

I'm thinking you're writing a love note to someone and want to get the spelling right? Although if so I'd be more graphic but then again I'm a horndog

Plus I have a vivid imagination and am probably barking up the wrong street

Twiglett · 24/11/2006 16:40

ignore TeeCee

(I think I'm getting into this game now)

MamaG · 24/11/2006 16:40
