Afternoon all. I've tidied a bit. Put washing on. Just bits. I'm off for a walk in a while to get some air. Hope you all have good afternoons.

Hot here. And sunny. So we're all hiding inside. I went back to bed after DH got up and didn't re-surface until 11am - bliss.

Looking forward to rewatch though.

Afternoon, we had a torrential downpour earlier, just when I was about to go out & so some gardening, so I was forced to stay in & watch Jess Ennis being fucking awesome. And then stayed watching until Bolt beat the twice-caught-cheating lowlife Gatlin.

Ouch - how are all the stings & bites helen? I had 50+ bites in one night a couple of weeks ago, so you have my sympathies

Where has today gone??? We have basically just pottered. They are both (feels weird to have no DS1 here) cutting up a shoe box and making a monster. I better make some food otherwise I won't be on time for rewatch.

Evening wenches! Watching the analysis following the end of the cricket.Bit gutted that the Ashes is over now - and there's a two year wait til the next one!

I seem to have achieved sod all today - dribbled over the PC GIFs again, swore at the cricket, swore at my iPad game and now waiting for my roast chicken dinner! Just as well I eat at my parents regularly or I wouldn't ever have a hot meal

We're supposed to go to Bournemouth air show but it was pissing down all morning, so decided staying warm and dry was better for family harmony. so instead we have been tidying the toy room all day. Doing the thrice annual sort out of the playmobil and throwing out broken stuff, paper old magazines etc. - not at all stressful and never a raised voice Alas also missed all the Ennis excitement.

Glad the roast went well anne, hope the heads not too bad letusand hope you got your nap bads

Am up for re watch tonight (dc allowing)

Have done two loads of washing, even managed to peg out before alllllll the rain arrived. Have ironed for over three hours

Incidentally, does anywench have one of those steam generator irons? Thinking about getting one. Would you recommend?

Need to get things ready for going back to work tomorrow. Don't want to. Want to stay here.

We are off out to see some family tomorrow. It's going to piss it down, sadly.
They loved Stockholm wicked :) they did lots...went to an aquarium, the museum, the globe ride (?) they had lovely weather too.
Work was ok. It is what it is, but the people seem nice and friendly.
Am doing 3 extra hours this week!

Hulk won't fucking end and Eric Bana has not been seen for at least 30 mins. Hoping DS3 will fall asleep watching but currently he is showing no signs. FFS
