Ds1 safely returned, fish and chips eaten, Ripper Street watched (I love the language apes as well as other fringe benefits).

ds1 is also interested in archery mouse and an Amazon Local deal near us has snaffled us a 2-for-1 deal for a 1 hour taster. stu[idly I said he could ask a friend and then realised I'd ahve to be there anyway - doh! If he really likes it, all the local archery clubs require under-18s to be accompanied by an adult, so I may end up taking it up as well (if you going to be standing in a muddy field you might as well be standing doing something in a muddy field)

Evening. We had Chinese take out tonight . The only decent one near us closed down about 3 months ago. It doubled up as the local chippy so much rejoicing and rush to order when it opened again with new owners this week. 'Twas good .

I've read Thousand Splendid Suns and thought it was very good. I e had a wenchy week of books as 84 Charing Cross and Crown of Thistles arrived. Got to read The Insect Farm for book group first though. So lots of goodies. Must try to. It be online as much and read more eh?
