Ripper Street is brilliant MrsB. Matthew MacFadyen is such a good actor as well as bloody gorgeous. He had me in tears last night and I don't normally get emotional with TV programmes. As Issy said, the language is beautiful, I wish I could write like that. I like Jerome Flynn as well, so it's win all round.

DH is currently painting the house. He's right up the top at the moment and I can't look.

I defy anyone not to snort at this

Morning, looks to be very warm today so may finish the last of the DC's holiday washing. Feel bleurgghhh though - period turned up yesterday evening & I don't know whether it's that, but my digestive system was not happy about something. I couldn't gather the concentration to deal with helen's Aramis exam.

Very hot and sticky here - have had a shower and am alreadya hot and sticky again. It may be a beach day but there's also 1001 things need doing round house and garden... Not least, the washing. And the livestock checks.

I've also been amused by the hacking threads where people are talking about hoovering the house, baking and doing make-up in case they get a swatting incident - slightly sick, but very amusing in true MN fashion.

What we really want up do is go swimming but the period that just won't leave is on about day 9 and last night I thought we could get away with some hanky panky but no it appears day 9 is the new day 2. FFS.

I'm so knackered! I hate this weather.

This month seems to be particularly bad doesn't it badders? Mine have been quite well behaved lately - think I'm perimenopausal, but apart from being slightly less regular that hasn't been a problem. In fact I think they've been slightly lighter than normal. I suspected this one might be a bad though as I had sharp ovulation pain this month on both sides.

FancyCat was cute earlier - I was slouched on the sofa watching the athletics & she jumped up on me & started kneading in just the right spot.

It's a bit warm here too but not as warm as I suspect the other wench parts of the country.

Off out to a barbecue shortly. DC are already bickering so that's a good start.

I'm off the hrt fancy as I was bleeding so heavily it was causing more problems than it was helping!
Mine have also become lighter and less regular. But it's the PM symptoms I'm finishing hard to cope with :(

meh. Still trying to tidy up the house. I've found the spare bed - that's an achievement in itself. (It's usually a pile of clean laundry, paperwork and computer peripherals. Plus any books I've been working on.)

DS has been glued to non-stop Ninjago all day. Are we bad parents? probably, but it's fairly unpleasantly hot outside... Might be cooler now. will go check and clean out chicken shed while I'm at it (which even now, after several years, has a disappointing lack of Musketeers to 'help out' when I'm leaning over it.)

Ironing done.
Bloody hell, it's hot.
Will need another shower before work.

I'M REALLY SCARED WENCHES!!!

Today I've been in to town and ran some errands. Then food shopping. When I got home I vacuumed and then went for a bike ride. And then I did the dishes and also did some baking, trying out a new LCHF recipe. All during a really hot day. What's happening to me
