Methinks she doth protest too much.

FancyFancy · 13/07/2015 19:52

That's a very lucid account elk. Suspiciously lucid. Rather undermines the 'extremely pissed' argument.

morelikeguidelines · 13/07/2015 20:14

Sorry fancy I thought you knew! I am a barrister.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 13/07/2015 20:16
MadamedeChevreuse · 13/07/2015 20:21

Excellent, the tav could do with a barrister morelike.

MadamedeChevreuse · 13/07/2015 20:23

Y'know, just in case anything legal crops up with our tenancy agreement. The tav is located in the dodgier part of paris 1630 after all.

morelikeguidelines · 13/07/2015 20:24

I thought it was because of the brawls that keep breaking out, madame.

MavisGrind · 13/07/2015 20:25

Evening all.

Good link Cinn - I've been poncing about the Shakespeare interviews since I finished work. Now watching Ben Whishaw in Richard II - lots of BFs but not necessarily HBFs.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 13/07/2015 20:31

Oh - random post - food served in/on inappropriate things. Madame and I had lemonade served to us from flower vases Grin but at least the water bottles had a fleur de Lys on them!

Well my dream involved WSB celebrating his first Christmas for decades by helping with the decorations and the unwrapping.

It stopped about there but was quite nice.

AnneOfAramis · 13/07/2015 20:55

Good to see we are on top wench form.

Without really counting I declare rewatch night to be Sundays at 9pm these will commence on Sunday 2 August.

I,myself, will be absent as I will be otherwise engaged in foreign country with no wifi might seriously contemplate data bolt on with mobile package in order to take part.

Other rewatches are allowed, nay, encouraged so for those who find Fridays or Tuesdays at 11.30am better please do so. The only rule is to post your perving

Capice.

Roger anne

Yes, that too morelike.

LaComtess · 13/07/2015 21:12

Evening all

I have cheered up a bit now Grin. A nice shower is often all you need.

Now then. I have extra info. I have found out on Twatter that Hugo is from Harrogate. Why did we not know this before? Many of the best people in the world are also from Harrogate. Also of course has Betty's. And amazing Fondant Fancies

Fancy - have you read Geraint Thomas's article on BBC Sport ref cycling. Recommended . Go G #allez Cymru Grin

FancyFancy · 13/07/2015 21:17

Erm, is WSB related to winter soldier norah?

I didn't know that's what you did morelike, could be useful if it gets a bit rowdy in here Grin

LaComtess · 13/07/2015 21:19

Excellent Anne. Well organised.

Helen weird! Hope they washed them out well eh. Were they not carafes with a glass then? Fleur a nice touch.

Morelike Oooh I didn't know that. I suspect that it's not all like 'Silk' with RPJ boffing you between trials.... Or is it? Grin

LetUsPrey · 13/07/2015 21:21

Evening wenches. Excellent pictures and gifs. Have got Cinn's link open on another tab to watch later.

Boffing order:
Aramis
Athos, Dog, Trev - no particular order, depends on my mood
Porthos

Not sure re rewatch but will be taking part in spirit if I can't actually watch

FancyFancy · 13/07/2015 21:28

comtess, no I haven't read that. Thanks for recommendation, I'll look at it later. Love GT Grin, a total (Welsh) nutter, but my inappropriate cycling crush is Kittel, I think it's the thighs Blush. I have highlights backed up from last Thursday to watch so am avoiding all cycling news if at all possible.

So you're saying Harrogate has tea, cake & Hugo? Sounds wonderful

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 13/07/2015 21:28

Comtess no - they were little vases with a straw so you could drink the contents. Up there with food served on slates Grin

Cinnamoncookie · 13/07/2015 21:35

Typical, Hugo tries to pretend he's all rugged and that, but he's actually from the posho soft bit of Yorkshire. Although, anyone from Yorkshire is tougher than anyone from anywhere else, it's all relative.

Harrogate also has spa water that smells utterly boak-worthy. And lots of chichi little shops. But it's mostly about Betty's.

LaComtess · 13/07/2015 21:38

Yes Fancy I think you'd like Harrogate. Lovely tea. Lovely cakes.
Will shut up ref the TdF if you've got to catch up.

Helen you know what to get LetUs for Christmas then Grin

Cinnamoncookie · 13/07/2015 21:39

Carafe ?

Oh, and boffing order :

Athos Aramis Trev Porthos Dog. In any order. Together or separately, not fussed.

OP posts:
MiladyBeaWinter · 13/07/2015 21:44

Evening. Ah, boffing order. You can't have photos due to shitey signal but I will restate my order WHICH HAS NOT CHANGED SINCE I FIRST WANDERED INTO THE INN.

  1. Athos
  2. Capt Trev
  3. Hmmm actually from this point on it wavers a bit. It might have been Porthos. It still might be Porthos. However if Kingy proves to be all dutty and less petulant in S3 then it might be him instead.

Still not Dog. Though sure he is lovely just not for me. And not Aramis. Too religious.....

But anyhow, I recall Liv and I posting Hugo pictures (mainly Full Monty ones) aaaaaages ago trying to tell you lot he was lovely and FAF. Your a fickle bunch esp that Elk, it's a good thing I luffs youse.

LetUsPrey · 13/07/2015 21:45

Oh yes, saw the drinks served in vases. What in the name of actual fuck? I mean, I know I've been known to use a straw to drink directly from a pitcher of Pimms , but that's just taking the piss.

FancyFancy · 13/07/2015 21:46

No problem comtess, I'll be lucky to avoid all spoilers. When the BBC does mention cycling on the radio news bulletins, they usually give the result away within 2 seconds - before I can lunge at the radio to turn it off. In fact I may have complained to them about it before Blush and asked if they can start 'In today's stage of the.....' rather than with rider's name as that usually gives away the stage winner/crash victim/yellow jersey holder before the highlights programme is broadcast. They ignored me (probably because the highlights are on ITV)
