Mrse...we can be sleep trainers together over the summer as ds2 has got into the bad habit of one is staying with him til he falls asleep (of course with the advent Of Netflix this isn't too much hardship :)) but he also comes into our bed too.
Last year he was v poorly and needed an op and I let things slide a bit.
I intend to rectify this over the summer hols!
Oh, I am so Envy of all you wenchvac wenches.
pleeeeaaaasseeee do one again when I am NOT away on holiday!

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 08/07/2015 13:26

Oh the puppies are adorable Wellerr

I confess I love cricket, particularly test matches! Hate 20/20 though - it's shite! So I'm looking forward to the Ashes!

morelikeguidelines · 08/07/2015 13:29

It might be fun to play, I accept . Mainly because of the tea and lack of energetic running round.

What I hate is the way it takes days and during that time you constantly hear people saying "England are 25 for blah " or "oh no, pippin withersqueak has gone" or whatever. As if we all care .

Also phrases like "silly mid leg" or whatever are irritating.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 08/07/2015 13:29

Party for all non wenchvac wenches on Safurday in the dungeon. You get a free guided tour and food and drink although you may not want to eat down there Just put your name down on the list that I have stuck on the dungeon door Grin

morelikeguidelines · 08/07/2015 13:29

Livia can you really imagine the cardinal playing or watching cricket?

morelikeguidelines · 08/07/2015 13:31

Also there are never any hbfs involved, unlike rugby and football which have their fair share. For example , Italy as so crap at rugby but often faf.

Baddz · 08/07/2015 13:52

It would be better if the positions were rudey ????
"Johnson is still at left nipple and Jones is coming up to right flange"...I would watch that.
Liv....it's s date ????

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 08/07/2015 14:53

Suitcase packed, can't wait for tomorrow, squeeeeeeee Smile

Hugs to all wenches in need Flowers

FancyFancy · 08/07/2015 14:56

Afternoon

I liked watching cricket when I was a youngster & had more time Grin. I used to go to some county matches when they were in town -take a picnic & a newspaper/book, & my dad would drop in on his way back from work

Totally agree with you morelike on the FAFness of Italian sportmen. But then I have a weakness for flirty types with brown eyes Wink

Rudey position names would liven things up badders, but I fear the commentators would be rendered permanently speechless - remember the giggling when 'X couldn't quite get his leg over'?

morelikeguidelines · 08/07/2015 15:21

Yes - properly rudey positions would improve the whole thing no end.Grin

FancyFancy · 08/07/2015 15:26

Gully already sounds a little rude

morelikeguidelines · 08/07/2015 15:32

Well they have things like "in the slips" that sound a bit rude in a public schooly sort of way, but proper rudery would be better. Like maybe the "arse side" rather than leg side etc.

fancy, I have a controversial one for you, speaking of fitness of sportsmen and knowing you are a United fan. Purely on looks (and football playing when a player) and not on voice or conduct off pitch, how do you feel about Giggsy as hbf?

MadamedeChevreuse · 08/07/2015 15:35

Non vac wenches, please play rudey wench cricket in the dungeon on sat!

"The cardinals just delivered a whopping googly up livias rear wicket" etc

FancyFancy · 08/07/2015 15:48

Excellent idea madame

I loved Giggsy as a player morelike, and his mad shirt-waving run after the FA Cup goal against Arsenal is one of my top three favourite footballing moments, but as a HBF he doesn't quite do it for me. He looks quite good in some pics, but he lacks charisma. And swagger, that's it! He lacks swagger. (And I can never un-hear the voice).

I don't find many footballers truly hot. With this honourable exception

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 08/07/2015 16:16

morelike Oh I could imagine it resists temptation to make jokes about sticky wickets Grin

Baddz Fab - you will have a lovely time - it's not as scary as it sounds Grin

Baddz · 08/07/2015 16:21

Are assless chaps and studded bras compulsory liv?

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 08/07/2015 16:23
Baddz · 08/07/2015 16:25

Oh!
Ds1s humanities teacher has written him a congrats letter on his excellent work this year!
He apparently just missed out on an award on the awards evening so she wanted to let him know how proud she is of him!

????

Baddz · 08/07/2015 16:26

Sparks....calm down!
Just throw a load of stuff in a case...if you forget anything just buy it when you are there! ????

FancyFancy · 08/07/2015 16:34

Aw, that's lovely badders - well done DS1 Smile

Put the hoover down sparks - why bother hoovering when you won't be around to benefit from the results?

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 08/07/2015 16:38

Because I feel too goddamn guilty for not doing all the jobs that are usually mine. And because if I don't the house will be minging by the time I get back.

FancyFancy · 08/07/2015 16:56

I've taken the view that the house will be minging when I get back even if I left it spotless before I left, so why should I bother? Grin. I'll empty the bins . Oh and clean the litter trays as the cats are proably the only ones who will notice levels of cleanliness.

I do feel a little guilty though

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 08/07/2015 17:13

Badders It's not compulsory but it's good of you to make the effort Grin

morelikeguidelines · 08/07/2015 17:16

Cantona is so great.

Described him the other day to young French person as "greatest frenchman who ever lived" and she just looked at me blankly (never heard of him!)

I was saying ds was like Cantona as he had a top with a collar sticking up and he stands in a Cantona way with chest out, hands on hips (he is 1).

morelikeguidelines · 08/07/2015 17:19

Ps agree re lack of charisma, was strictly looks alone assessment. He had good stubble imo, which is v important to me! But is purely to look at, for all the reasons you stated.
