Just back from a trip to a and e. Toddlermouse developed a wheezy chest and I took him to OOH. The Dr there couldn't get him to calm down and use their oxygen mask so he sent him onto a and e. Turns out he has moderate asthma brought on by the viral thing he picked up at preschool. Been given two different inhalers to use with a nebuliser and some steroids.

I am absolutely knackered now. It took me and a nurse to restrain him to get any obs taken or the nebulizer anywhere near him.

I'm going to RTFT now.

I was planning a quiet evening in front of the TV but then started looking for accomodation in Oxford online and then I couldn't stop

He's ok now. The wheezing has calmed down quite a bit.
A and e was an awful experience. He wouldn't let them put the finger clip thing on him. He had to have it on his toe. And he wouldn't put an oxygen mask on. Had to have an open valve with gas coming out near him whilst he screamed and tried to get away.

I'm having a glass of whisky and my emergency bar of chocolate. And looking at my emergency stash of HBFs.
