Bring your steak and guacamole sandwiches and raise a glass of cheeky Chilean red to the hottest musketeer of them all!

Let's play pass the parcel. When the music stops, Team A gets to take off a layer.

Ready...go!

Oh and mouse you have reminded me, I bought the lads' Xmas pjs in the January sales, must see if I can still find them at the back of my wardrobe Hmm

Baddz · 07/05/2015 15:30

Ds is home and he had a good day Smile
Thank you for the hugs x
As soon as Dh is home I am off upstairs for some me time!
I still have ironing to do tomorrow and plan another run.

FancyFancy · 07/05/2015 15:38

That's good news badders, enjoy your me time!

issy - I could get on board with that sort of community involvement Grin.

Speaking of decluttering, I have bids on two of my items, yay! I won't be paying off the mortgage yet, but that's two unused things that will soon be gone - one of them quite large.

ApricotCrush · 07/05/2015 16:26

Same weather here. I've just been to town to look for summer clothes, and came back with food and toiletries. Hmm The traffic was shocking, I don't know why, is there something going on? Wink

I haven't voted yet. We always make an evening walk out of it, unless it's tipping it down.

Badders glad he had a good day and well done with the weight loss. I'm trying to diet but the bloody scales won't shift. I had a bowl of fresh fruit for lunch, and because I'm so hungry I just had a handful of nuts, and now I've got stomach cramp. FMD

Issy I was trying to work out what baby wine was. Confused

Well done on the bids Fancy, nothing of mine has sold for ages.

MadamedeChevreuse · 07/05/2015 16:50

ChaiseLounger · 07/05/2015 17:12

Just back from work. Err, just went to vote, with my postal vote that I forgot to Post!!
Off to read thread.

FancyFancy · 07/05/2015 17:18

Excellent madame, it's a date!

We are versatile in here. And have a wide range of interests - historical fiction leather, European cities, beards classic fiction, large weapons politics, HBFs comedy, snark costume design removal of costumes and er, washing and lack of washing by HBFs

Enormouse · 07/05/2015 18:34

Am enjoying some very rare quiet time. Mr Mouse has taken out the mouse boys so I've got my feet up and am having my secret bar of chocolate.

Toddler has speech therapist and audiologist tomorrow but he's feeling a bit under the weather. Lots of sneezing and general crappyness. Should I just push him through it and dose him up with calpol? Wrt the audiologist I was lucky to get an appointment tomorrow. It's September for an appt in local town or June for the slightly further away town (where we're having to go)

MadamedeChevreuse · 07/05/2015 19:08

Grin fancy

mouse I would go for it unless he gets much worse. Enjoy your me time. have you booked your ultron tix yet?

Election volunteering was great. Have a warm fuzzy community feeling. Apart from the house prices, I love where I live.

FancyFancy · 07/05/2015 19:28

That sounds lovely mouse - enjoy!

I think I'd take him along too unless he worse, it's quite a while 'til he could get another appointment & there's no guarantee he'll be cold free then, especially given the age he's at!

That sounds lovely madame - what were you doing?

Baddz · 07/05/2015 19:36

Mouse...unless his temp is very high and he is very miserable I would take him.
Calpol is your friend Smile
Hope it goes ok x

Baddz · 07/05/2015 20:41

Ds2 has just run in and told me that he is a ninja
But now he is off to bed
Grin

MadamedeChevreuse · 07/05/2015 20:45

Grin bads. I accidentally terrified ds tonight by pretending to turn into the hulk. (He did ask me to though.) Hope I havent traumatised him.

fancy we were just knocking on doors to get the vote out. It was good though.

Off to see how the elections going...

Evening wenches. Am getting a little bit of rage with all the massive blue stickers all over FB saying, "I've voted", in part because you should vote with a X not a tick like it shows. But I know I should be grateful that so many people are voting. I was running late and didn't go this morning, so went in on the way home from work. No queues, but a steady stream of people going in and out. Round here it seems to be a family outing for people - gentle stroll to the polling station and all cast your vote.

I'm in rehearsal for a show atm, so am not on Polling Clerk duty. A pity really, I enjoyed it and it was good money.

In my new cast there is a HBFarTooYoungF. GrinGrinGrin

Baddz · 07/05/2015 20:56

What do you class as far too young cin?
as long as it's legal

Evening, attempting to get weekly finances done before settling in front of the tv with a glass of wine (and a big pile of ironing) for election night tv.

Love ninja DS badders

Lucky you cinnamon Grin

IssyStark · 07/05/2015 21:07

Starting on the beer before 9pm and the forgetting about The Game on BBC2 and thus not having a nap around 9 as planned, probably bodes ill for me making it through until dawn, but I shall try.

MadamedeChevreuse · 07/05/2015 21:08

More details of HBFTYF please.

Ah. Still too early for election news. Durrr.

I procrastinated at the end if the day and couldn't decide whether stay at work to revise or pop off to the library - then it was 6.30 so I came home. 7.15 and DH hadn't fed the kids and was waiting for me so he could order pizza. They have just right now gone to bed and now I can't face it. I had a cry. I have not one free day between now and my first exam. Not one. I have had all my essays back for this academic year and I am still on track but below my usual and the last two the teachers commented that they felt rushed. This is the first time in the entire 4 years I have doubted myself.

Woe is me. Why can't I focus???

Madame - I was thinking of getting politically involved but I don't want to knock on people's doors ever and I know canvassing etc is a big deal.

Badders - sorry it's all so stressful for you and DS at the moment. I think Issy may have a point about perhaps stopping meds (except essentials obv. I think you have mentioned asthma). I am always that unprepared parent that never has calpol or arnica or anything useful in the house and touchwood they are rarely ill outside of the colds etc. I could also be talking out of my arse so feel free to tell me to shut up.

MavisGrind · 07/05/2015 21:23

Evening all.

I have voted but am still full of cold so am off to bed. I'm sure this won't influence the outcome, it will still be there in the morning Hmm

Enjoy the election coverage, I really did intend to get snack supplies in, but, in the end, just too tired.

Night all.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 07/05/2015 21:27

Anne you have far too much on, of course you're feeling stressed and you shouldn't even be considering taking on more (like campaigning)

Madame Arf at hulk transformation

LetUs we're watching a programme about chocolate (on catch-up) and they're playing Paella Nutella in the background Grin

FancyFancy · 07/05/2015 21:39

Flowers anne, we have faith in you Smile

Night mavis, hope the cold's better tomorrow

issy I'm just about to crack open the wine, so like you am afraid of the effect on my stamina. What channel(s) will everyone be watching?

IssyStark · 07/05/2015 21:44

Prob BBC with radio 4 on in the bathroom, I'm horribly traditional.
