I actually got offered that job at the end of last week, the one I interviewed for but didnt hear back from for two weeks.
I asked if I could work four days a week as before. HR woman said she would ask and get back to me. She only got back to me today, saying that my would-be boss would really prefer if I work five days.
Argh. What should I do?
I could say no and risk (probably) losing the job, and wait (possibly endlessly) for a part-time job, which is really hard to get, so I may end up giving in and working full time for someone else anyway.
I could say yes, and see how it goes / resign once I get a mortgage agreed. Basically, the only reason I need to get an in-house job somewhere is that I can't get a mortgage without one. So we can't move house til I get a job somewhere.
Realistically, I don't think I can cope with five days a week. It's not really to do with DS, it's to do with my migraines. They were fucking awful at the end of my last job, and that was only four days a week. Since I've stopped, I've been feeling loads better.
