Morelike for my last big 0 birthday we did a posh foodie break thing. Country house hotel in the lakes, Michelin star and no DC for 2 days as we left them with my DP.

Prior to that (the 0s before) we did Rome for me and Barcelona for DH. My sister has a 0 this year and she and I will be doing a city break somewhere in the summer. I've suggested Prague .

If you want to do something big needs planning, especially if it will involve family / guests. I'm more of a bigger off and do something type than a sociable type.

MoreLike - blimey - what are you thinking of that takes so long to organise? A wench meet-up? YANBU - very enthusiastic, but not unreasonable unless your'e expecting others to get excited this far in advance I think my last big one involved family coming round and eating lots of food.
