Morning everyone . Thank you for all your messages and massages of support. Let's hope they can do something. What is your prognosis badderz? Do you just have to get on with it?

Bea, I am intrigued and confused about the 'Poldark thread' comments and people being pissed off....has some FENCH been having a go at our thread style?

Flopsy28 · 16/04/2015 11:43

Nice one chaise! Now do as you're told and look after yourself. When is your school appt?

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 16/04/2015 11:53

Floppers I think that one poster on the Poldark thread made some weird comment about 'talking in character' in the Swagger Inn being cringeworthy. tbh no-one has a clue what she was talking about, or cares.

Chaise - yay. (Not for bad blood results - because person was nice and understanding)

Baddz · 16/04/2015 12:00

Chaise...that sounds positive. Look after yourself!
Flops...I had a proceedure about 2 years ago (can't remember what its called) where they inject your spine with local anaesthetic.
Sadly because my bulging disc is at L3 they couldn't go in from above (not enough fat or muscle between skin and bone apparently) so had to go in from the side.
I swear to god the needle looked like a harpoon!
It wasn't pleasant (you are awake in theatre) and it didn't work so I won't be having it done again!
I cope by ignoring it Blush this works quite well most of the time - but not today.
I am in pain and it bloody hurts. Can't take ibuprofen any more due to gastric issues so rely on paracetamol and co codamol.
I have tramadol and nefapam for when it really bad but haven't taken them for over a year (fear of strong meds)
I am coming to the conclusion I may have to go back and ask for physio.
Sigh.
What a performance.

For my 0 birthday (6 weeks ago) I did nothing. Although one of my cast did tell me that my playing age was x0 -8, so that was OK.

In other news, this morning I have cleaned behind the fridge, washer and cooker. I think this means I am allowed to vote for UKIP now. Or something Hmm

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 16/04/2015 12:38

Belated birthday greetings :) I have no idea what a 'playing age' is though - as long as you're happy with it...!

Cinnamoncookie · 16/04/2015 12:51

Playing Age is the age of the character an actor can believably play. So you might be 36 (say), with a playing age of 28-35.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 16/04/2015 13:08

Ah - nothing to do with mental age then Grin

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 16/04/2015 13:52

This comment on body language entertained me.

Stopping for lunch soon...

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 16/04/2015 14:07

Bahahaha! Santi just doesn't look like Santi clean-shaven, does he? I still remember the shock of those S Africa pics: "ERMERGERD where's the beaarrrrrddddd?"

I def approve of the rest of the outfit though. Hell yes. And that Paris trip was the best I've seen TB look in RL EVAH. Hawwwwt.

This comment made me laugh too: So many porn tags#face porn #hand porn #hair porn #leg porn #eye porn #all porn but actual porn Grin

FancyFancy · 16/04/2015 15:13

Afternoon

Not unreasonable to start planning morelike as long as you bear in mind helen's comment on other people's excitement levels Grin

Hi livia, nice to have you back

Glad things went well this morning chaise, she sounded like a wise person - more important to work out an achieveable plan than nit-pick over the past.

That is one excellent Tumblr post + comments helen Grin

FancyFancy · 16/04/2015 15:16

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 16/04/2015 15:56

Wenches - AIBU to spend £10 on ice-cream for the freezer this week? Shock

Just doing my Tesco shop & they have an offer on on those Cadburys Marvellous Creations things but in ice-cream form & I want all 4 flavours Blush

Nooooooooooooo

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 16/04/2015 15:57

Just showed them to DS2. "Live in the moment" he says. Grin

Cinnamoncookie · 16/04/2015 16:02

£10 on ice cream ? Pffft. I think £100 might get you a raised eyebrow

FancyFancy · 16/04/2015 16:05

It would only be wrong if you spent it on white chocolate Magnums. Or coffee flavoured ice-cream.

How many Musketeers would £10 worth of ice-cream cover?

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 16/04/2015 16:07

One. Just one Fancy

SparklesRedHotChileLeather · 16/04/2015 16:08

One flavour contains popping candy though. That could be fun served au-Musketeer
