Oh & Comtess - for failsafe, build-upable fake tan, Avon (yes really) Skin So Soft Somethingorother Soft Glow Airbrush Spray. You spray it on (colourless so no messy bathroom), get dressed immediately - I do it at night - wake up done in morning. Takes 2 mins tops.

I used that method for years then last summer, discovered St Moritz, which is the tight git's St Tropez. But it's better Cheap as chips in Superdrug or independent chemists, it's a brown mousse that you smooth on with a sponge. Takes longer but results are lovely.

I will be using a combination of both this summer if we really get this 3-month hottest summer ever they're predicting
