  4. I don't know how many I have!!
dylansluckymum · 13/10/2006 20:11
  1. (eco)disposables
  2. bambo nature. used to use moltex but they're just too bulky. they're at least slightly friendlier to the environment. they have biodegradable 'cores' and are oxygen rather than chlorine bleached.
  3. 5-6
  4. n/a
Pollybloodyanna · 13/10/2006 20:15
  1. cloth mostly
  2. tots bots, bamboozles, kissaluvs, fuzzibunz and one wee notion (have tried all these and like them - plus, once you have bought them you are stuck with them. Used this site mostly for recommendations, but I think the Nappy Lady started me off on tots bots).
  3. maybe 4 or 5 during the day
  4. 4 or 5. I have about 15 nappies I think.
Pollybloodyanna · 13/10/2006 20:16

oh, when I do use disposables I have the nature boy and girl ones. dd2 won't wear cloth anymore, and she wears the huggies pull ups with disney princess on them

HonorMatopoeia · 13/10/2006 20:18

  1. Cloth in day. Moltex disposables at night and on holiday.
  2. Cotton Bottoms wraps, Motherease wraps. Used to use Cotton Bottoms laundry service then bought stuff from them.
  3. 5 - 6
  4. 5 - 6. 8 wraps. 12 fleece liners, 20 cotton prefolds.
PigeonPie · 13/10/2006 20:44
  1. cloth
  2. Motherease multi-fit, because they're great!
  3. 5/6 (generally 5) (DS aged 11 months)
4.See above. Have 20 nappies, 30 boosters and 6 large wraps (also use flushable paper liners)
CorpseBride · 13/10/2006 20:45
  1. Disposables (easy life after 4 years of cloth)
  2. Nature Boy & Girl because they're 75% biodegradable
  3. 6
  4. (When using cloth I used around 16 per day because I had 3 DCs in nappies - hence I gave up with it. I own at least 60 cloth nappies).

PS. Ignore comments about spelling and punctuation. It's patronising nonsense.

lulumama · 13/10/2006 20:45

1 Disposable
2 Lidl or Aldi -1/2 the price of pampers , huggies etc and excellent quality

  1. Do you use cloth or disposable nappies?
Cloth
  1. What brands do you use? and why?
Motherease, Totsbots, Little Ewe, Lovebums.
  1. How many nappies do you use in a day?
About 3 or 4.
  1. If using cloth nappies, how many do you have?
About 10 shaped and 6 terries for backup.
juuule · 13/10/2006 21:37
  1. What brands do you use? and why?

I didn't answer the why.
Because they work out a lot cheaper than disposables. Because they are more environmentally friendly than disposables. Because I think they are better for babies health than disposables.

juuule · 13/10/2006 21:38

Ooops and 1 more reason for using them - they look soooo much nicer than disposables.

fridascruffs · 13/10/2006 21:39
  1. Disposable
  2. Moltex Oko. Because they're biodegradable (100% they say). Never considered cloth cos I don't use a tumble dryer and too difficult to get the cloth ones dry.
  3. 3-6
  4. -

PS: I suspect you'll get a disproportionate no. of people who use cloth or biodegradable disposables answering this survey. Anyone agree?

clarinsgirl · 13/10/2006 21:46
