lucykate · 13/10/2006 22:42

muma3 · 13/10/2006 22:51

  1. Cloth (occasionally disposables on holiday, etc.)
  2. Fuzzi Bunz, Wonderoos, Supa Dupas, Nature Babies, Banana Babies. Used Tots Bots when DS was younger. Also have some Heavenly Heineys, Luke's Drawers, Bumbles, Huggles, Snugwees, Slinki Minkis, Tots Fluffles and Tots Bamboozles (we used these alongside the Tots before he started nursery, when we moved onto pocket nappies as they were easier for the staff). When using disposables, use the Nature (or whatever they are called) ones with the little leaves on, or Tushies.
  3. Normally 5 or 6 a day, in cloth or disposable (DS is 20 months, it used to be more).
  4. See above. We probably have about 20 (cloth) nappies in regular use. More in the nappies I don't regularly use and in smaller size that are waiting for a hypothetical DC2
northender · 13/10/2006 23:00
  1. cloth
  2. meos and earthwise babies (have since gone bankrupt) can't remember why I chose them with dd (2nd babe) I use airflow wraps and would recommend them beyond anything else on the wraps market.
3 5 nappies a day generally 4 4-5 plus 1 at night
nappyaddict · 14/10/2006 03:30
  1. i use both - disposables when other people are looking after ds and cloth the rest of the time.
  1. wham-bamboo - super absorbant
aldi - all the others i've tried have leaked or not lasted through the night
  1. about 5
  1. i have 12.
flack · 14/10/2006 07:24
  1. Mostly cloth
  1. Shop's own for disps (value for money). Cloth is mostly Ella's house (I like the hemp), plus one Tots Bot, one PeeWeez, some obscure SAHM shaped nappies and AIOs, and a mountain of terries, prefolds and muslins (also used as boosters and floor rags)

3-4. 10 cloth nappies a day? Only 5 or so if disp. Assuming you count 2 terries in one nappy as using 2 nappies...

  1. Own maybe 12 decent quality cloth nappies. Another 40 or so are falling to bits, but am toilet training last child so have decided to invest no more.

  1. a mixture
  2. totsbots, terries and one fluffle (going to buy more!)... also tesco/pampers/huggies (whichever I have a voucher for)
  3. about 7
  4. I have 6 tots size one, 5 terries and a fluffle (need more of this size)...also have 14 tots size 2s, but dd doesn't fit these yet

Sorry for being patronising.

nickiey · 17/10/2006 14:12

I use eco baby diddy diapers and get through about 7/8 in a 24 hour period. I chose these as I knew my baby would be premmie and these are very tiny. I have motherease one size for when he gets a bit bigger.
I own 15 nappies of each type.

Flamebat · 17/10/2006 14:18

1.Cloth

2.Wambamboo mainly because they are great for fit and absorbancy, with a few tots bots thrown in for good measure (I had them before the WBBs and they dry faster), and some magicalls for the fast drying all in one-ness.

  1. 4 - inc nighttime.
  1. Errrr... about 25, but that is through addiction!!! We only NEED about 12 (wash every other day)
wendalin · 19/10/2006 14:26

sorry belgo i really didnt think you were being patronizing, sorry if it came out that way, i didnt mean it to

  1. Cloth
  1. Mainly tots bots (ordinary, rainbow, bamboozle), also some clwt twts and bumbles (night time). They work well, no leaks and the bumbles keep everything in overnight. DD can wear pretty wraps too
  1. DD goes through about 5 or 6 nappies a day I think
  1. As above. We have quite a lot of nappies - must be at least 25 as we can go for three days without needing to wash
asleep · 19/10/2006 14:33
  1. disposable
  2. pampers. don't know why i still do as they leak so much.
  3. about 5
bea · 19/10/2006 17:19
  1. Disposables..Moltex (although am a lapsed cloth used - Fuzzibunz - which were fantastic but ds was/is a terrible terrible pooer!)
  2. Moltex.. about as eco friendly as you can get in a disposable... also very very good!... less gel as well.
  3. ds - 4 dd2 - 6
  4. when i did use fuzzis... for dd1 4, had about 15
Rookiemum · 19/10/2006 17:23

Hi there

  1. Disposable
  2. Tescos by preference as I like them, Huggies if I am not shopping in Tescos, tried the Asda ones but had a faulty batch and had no joy from their customer services so could not trust to buy again
  3. Depends on how the weaning is going, about 5-6
taffy101 · 19/10/2006 17:33
  1. disposable
2.nature boy & girl (eco-friendly-ish) although these stopped being absorbent enough at night at 18 months so just used pampers at night then. DD only on night nappies now but have stocked up on nature newborns for forthcoming arrival.
  1. Don't know yet (just one a night for dd)
  2. Guilty for not using these - too lazy, washing machine too noisy and lots of other feeble excuses...
womba1 · 19/10/2006 17:48

1)Disposable
2) Pampers.. they're the only brand i'm really happy with
3) Approx 4/5 on my 9 month old dd and 1 at night for my 3 year old ds
4) N/A
