Wenches I am beyond . Dp is point blank refusing to take tomorrow off to look after ds. I took today off and will be off thurs avo to go to his school play. If I dont go in tomorrow my work will be seriously fucked. If I send ds to school tomorrow and he is off sick on thurs as a result, missing his first ever school play, I will murder dp. Why is his work always more important than mine?? Aibu?

No, dont know any sahms here unfortunately. I suggested he work from home. No cos he has meetings. He has work xmas lunch in the avo, which I said I would cover (we work in same company). Still no. ds is much the same, ie ok but nasty cold, little energy, grumpy, needs to get over it to have a chance at play on thurs.

He always has meetings. So do I. He will never take time off to look after him, on that basis. Twat.

Madame that sounds rubbish. I have no great ideas except emergency childcare which usually costs a fortune. DH job is a bit more flexible than mine so if he's here, he (or Grandparents) can look after poorly DC.
