paper - 3 euros
fags - 2 euros
coffee in town (roughly every other week) - 1 euro

Shall I get a calculator?

SenoraPostrophe · 14/04/2004 21:15

Actually I suppose I should count a couple of hours of having my childminder here when I'm not working - 20 euros.

cuppy · 14/04/2004 21:16

Well ... since having dd 8 weeks ago I can safely say the most I have spent on myself in one week so far is ......£2 approx, on a m+b mag. Am I very sad?

With me it depends on how much we need. So a weekly shop varies. I can spend from £30 up to £100. Yesturday i spent £92. I was so shocked because i didn't wanna spend that much and i thought it would only come to £70 at the most. I shop in Asda.

carla · 14/04/2004 21:50

Nothing on me ... 'cept wine and fags!! Honestly, except something to keep my unkempt frizzy haid at bay, and that costs £6 a week, nothing else.

kiwisbird · 14/04/2004 21:55

mags £2
sometimes clothes but I buy and sell so not counting
sod all really....

lydialemon · 14/04/2004 21:56

Spotted some trousers in my catalogue that might actually fit (I'm a size 18/20 but with a 33 inch inside leg) so I ordered a few on 'buy now pay october'. Apart from that, bugger all as usual.

lydialemon · 14/04/2004 21:57

Oh yeah, they were £25 for 2 pairs.

LipstickMum · 14/04/2004 22:17

Ah Crystal, what a good idea! Apart from all the groceries I scoffed, I have no luxuries whatsover in terms of salon treatments. I do get waxed, but we all know that's NOT a luxury. Actually, I have spent a bit on Dr Hauschka stuff and some 'enzynamite' from Lush, so I do get some treats

carla · 14/04/2004 22:26

LipstickMum ... isn't that a torture, not a luxury? BTW, how can anyone show off their bits to get them waxed? Just like being back with the midwife again ..

Ghosty · 14/04/2004 22:32

I can seriously say that since having DD have not spent one cent on ME except of course food ...
I desperately need my hair sorting but can't justify the expense at the moment ... so will have to make do with two tone hair for another month or so ...

carla · 14/04/2004 22:37

Ghosty, what would you do with your hair? Honest question?

LipstickMum · 14/04/2004 22:52

Yes Carla, waxing is definitely a torture sigh

Ghosty · 14/04/2004 22:56

Carla ...
I want to grow it longer ... but it needs trimming ...
I want a few more layers in it ... sort of long layers ...
And it seriously needs highlights ... but it is too expensive so will have to grow out the ones I've got until we can afford it again ...

tatcity · 14/04/2004 22:58

f* all except gin and fags, and the occasional paper which I never get round to reading. Feel guilty even buying clothes in New Look!

mummytojames · 14/04/2004 22:58

littlemissbossy · 14/04/2004 23:00
