£20 a week on my driving lessons, and today i bought a £6 piar of flip flaps, and a new bra and i hid them how sad is that ?

Never spent a penny until I went back to work and then looked at myself and my clothes in a new light as I was working with 20 somethings. Am off to hairdresser today and the kids are with my mum hurrah going to be red not greyish back roots! Dont hids things any moe but had a friend who used to buy new things and take them to the dry cleaners and get dh to collect so he would think they werent new. How sneaky is that?

£32 a month on waxing just about every inch of skin from the waist down (bar the landing strip) - and as I've confessed many times before - I love it!!!
About £5 a week on glossy mags, just can't help myself.
£8 every two months on Max Factor lipstick shade 70!

£2 on OK magazine, plus a couple of monthly mags. Approx £50 on clothes/shoes, but sometimes more if I need something for an occassion. A bottle of wine a week, about £4. Makeup/beauty stuff about £5 a month (I have occasssional blow outs though when I'll spend £40). Hairdresser about £25 every 2 - 3 months, hair dye about £10 every couple of months.

I don't really have beauty treatments, a cleaner or expensive tastes in booze, and I earn the main wage, so I feel about £50 a week on me is quite fair.

Probably about £2/week on some bit of junk food I don't share with the kids. My biggest treat for self is about 1x/month I buy a copy of the Weekend FT.

When I gave up work I told DH that I still wanted a monthly amount of money that was 'mine' so we each get £100 a month for treats and I usually spend every penny! It covers lunches with friends, coffees, magazines and usually a beauty treatment (I just discovered airbrush tanning - amazing!). I really try to prioritise treats for myself as it keeps me relatively sane.

DH treats himself too though a lot of his is spent at Starbucks. He just saved up for a few months a bought a snazzy new watch that he really didn't need but it's nice to treat yourself and still be guilt-free!
