The Sept thread is starting to take over my "watched threads" page coz it's so darn long.

ellesmum, you should feel proud, the pics are stunning, and the clothes are really lovely too!

lanismum, it's nothing special .. i was picked for a photo library family shoot, and told the pic will be stored till used .. or may never even be used, but i get paid

Just wondering what the general opinion on Rascals is? they have just emailed to offer my 2 yr old an assessment. The website doesn't give much away. Do models get much work? Most of the well known agencies seem to accept children from the london area and we live in the W. Mids. Any advice for a first timer. thanks

hi mythymbs- what a shame i didnt go to casting at 2.00pm! kids said i was needed there at 10.30am, and they insisted afterwards it was the right time, but when i got there the studio was full of babies! so couldnt have been.

what were the clothes like on your dd? did she try on a pink dress with white spots? and a hooch skirt and top?

they tried on about 5 different outfits on elle but some were too big

ellesmum, hmm think 2pm was right, coz it was all 2-3 yo girls when we were there .. unless they wanted to see elle specially
dd tried on 3 items, a stripey top and dungeree dress, stripey pink dress and leggings and a hooded top and jogging bottoms .. i have no idea what they thought, coz they are always nice and gush how cute .. so will see. Good luck too!

elle tried on the stripy dress with legings, was way to big 4 her!, she didnt try on any other of the ones your dd tried on though.
they said the same to me about how cute she looked e.t.c so i havent got a clue wether she'll get it!

she tried on a greyish denham dress, stripy dress with leggings, pink hooch skirt and top, a summer top, with jeans and a bandana on her head, a pink dress with poker dots and a pink cardigan. so quite a lot! we were there for ages! and they also tried on some pink kickers

that's good they could take their time with your dd. when it was my dd, lots came in and it got a bit packed quickly, so after the 3 items we quickly left.
gotta pick up dd1 from school now ..

Anybody tried to get into cm.net website. I still can't get on it.

hi all ellesmum elle's pics are truly gorgeous will email you a little later. funny you're all talking about knitting i just spent about £50 on yarn and needles for about 4 projects! luckily they're all baby stuff so not too hard but i'm so addicted i knit every night as soon as ds in bed i'm getting pretty fast!

junior shoot this am was good although very quick we were done 2 outfits in an hour! it's for an article on gender think he'll be split in half with a baby girl (chelsea from kl, v v cute). they said it's for winter issue (??) which comes out in dec.

ds also has tesco shoot tomorrow at the studio by our place that we did debenhams shoot in it's walking distance so very happy about that!!!

bbwbabe i wonder what the photos you're sending in are like... that could make all the difference you should make sure they're nice clear head shots...

thanks ragamuffin i must say i can't believe how busy he's been. i think he's had something like 8 jobs in just over a month!!! now i just can't wait until something actually comes out that i can see! i've asked for polaroids when they use them but i've never worked up the courage to ask them to email me any pics... has anyones done that? is it a problem or do they mind??

just thought i'd say, i read in the paper today that Gordon Ramsay is doing a book signing at John Lewis Brent Cross 12;30-1:30pm .. and trying to remember the time, i'm not that sure about the day, but think it's this Friday!! It's for his new autobiography Humble Pie ... if anyone is interested at all ... couldn't be bothered to start a new thread

Is anyone going to a casting for John Richmond tomorrow in Clapham Common? Can you get cabs anywhere near the tube station?

mythymbs - when do u think we will hear if our lo's have got the littlewoods job? did they tell u when the actual shoot is?

ellesmum, they start shooting tomorrow, but i don't know how long for.
Last time i took dd to the Littlewoods casting, they asked if dd was available the friday and sat before we left, and dd was booked that friday and sat. Lots of cute 2-3 yo this time, but i didn't get to chat as they were all busy
