Trace2 - How old is your DD and what sort of work does she do. Are you in Yorkshire.

yeah, i'm alright, my 2 are nearly 2 and 6 and luckily i got to miss the scary rides, apart from Indiana Jones and i nearly puked my guts up.

christabel its ds hes 4 and yes we are in yorkshire (barnsley) and we are also with kidz ltd and not had any thing from them,and we had to pay £124 for photos too we have appiled to tuseday child and they said they want ds, and we have done shoots along side of kids from tuseday child when doing shoots for dk.

i have e-mail julie too on cm net also ive posted a privet message for them all to.
i my self have no idea whats happened to the site

Just picked up the Sainsbury's Christmas gifts catalogue in-store - could someone please let me know whose LO I'm looking for in here as I've forgotten and this is a long thread....

Thanks for all your help re NC and B&B - I think my next step needs to be to ask NC what jobs they have done recently, and ask them to be honest about the prospects - perhaps they are used more for babies, then tv/commercials etc which would tend to be older kids, that could explain why dd has had nothing since the film casting earlier this year.

Sorry Julie, you're right, he did a Littlewoods casting, which DS didn't get. Thats it though, apart from a days shooting which was a continuing job. Don't worry about the tooth! I asked that and apparently its only a problem for food related ads. Ds has done nearly all his work with a missing tooth!
Christabel, we live in Leeds and work in london, which is 2hrs on the train, so only about the same time as driving to Cheshire

Littlemadam which agency are you with in London and how old is your DS. I did contact some in London but said do not take on children out of London area.

right without starting a huge discussion, i am thinking there is some thing funny going on at cm net, someone further up said why can the other three ladies post messages, i agree _ i dont think there are any other paople working there apart from isabel, most of you who dont know should read up on the last few months threads to see what is going on and why she was banned from mums net, for lying about jobs and fibbing about how busy her kids were. I just think the whole cm photoshoot wasa farce, the garden not worth metioning; how on earth did she pay for that, she said she found it through a location website; or choose that, ARE those pics ever going to be used on a site that does not load, is suspended and SHE/THEY have all disappeared on hols [?] did she not know that the account payment was due, has she done an Inspired kids on us? wonder how many donations the site recieved through paypal? lots of questions but need to be asked, she always seems to be lurking on here to read up on everyone, so should have known.

Im realtively new so cant comment as I dont know the history, and I do like to have faith in people, but do think its a little fishy that no-one can be contacted when theres been promises of photos and sponsorship

I chatted to Izzy on here for ages, and quite a few of the mums have been to her home (ones that live near, not me ) Give her chance to defend herself before you go for the jugular, and she won't come on here so it's a little unfair as she cannot defend herself, fishy

Alliebongo.....Hi there! You haven't been around in ages! Just answering your question on payment for jobs from MOT. Well generally we have found them to be fairly prompt compared to another agency we were with which sometimes took as long as a year! Generally our payments from MOT have come through within 3 months of doing the job. Often only 2 months.....which is quite good! Toys R Us jobs we have had payments quite quickly. We are currently also waiting for payments from jobs done at beginning of summer hols, but they shouldn't be long now. Is your DS in the Universe of Imagination Catalogue for Toys R Us?

christabel we have done a lot of tomy toy boxs, netto tradex, mamas papas, and so on, jack been asked to join one in london ,but we decided we was not going

Trace2 Are you with any other agencies or just DK. I sent photos off to Catwalk in Leeds as they are a good agency but there not taking anymore kids on.

dk, kidz ltd(been with them months nothing from them) been asked to go to tusdays child, euro kids, was asked last year to go to catwalk, (we didnt) went to kidz instead, wish we had gone to catwalk, not taking on now) janet palmer from london, we thought if we was with two we would be ok, but its like we are with just dk, so looking at more for jack to go with now aster i turned them all down

but i have been back intouch with euro kids and tuesday child and both still want him.
i have applyed for loads at london, but they say its to far,i am willing to travel with jack to shoots in london, but no one wants to know.

where abouts in yorkshire are you?
