I have just heard in the radio that some mothesr have been boycoting a schools healthy food initiative.

They have been taking orders from the kids, going to the local chippy, and taking food trollys of junk food round to the children at lunch time.

Oh FFS!

Taking out of the equation those small numbers of children who have special needs issues with food, what the fuck do these women think that they are doing?

How do they think this will help the children or the school?

just cos two mad old bags are doing something mad old baglike there's no need to start sniping about Yorkshire

if they were from London there'd be none of this rubbish; they'd just be two mad old bags

but they don't 'give Yorkshire a bad name' because they don't represent Yorkshire, they represent Mad Old Bags.

longwaytogo · 15/09/2006 21:21

somehow I knew this would be a thread this evening. I sat open mouthed at tv this morning and thought 'if you sooooo worried give them a packed lunch, then you can put in it what they want' lol

sorrell · 15/09/2006 21:22

I said if anyone was giving Yorkshire a bad name, because you seemed to imply I was. I didn't say they were. Though they are.

Cappuccino · 15/09/2006 21:23

they're not

they happen to live there

they weren't voted in

are they giving mothers a bad name then?

sorrell · 15/09/2006 21:23

Yes, I think they are. It's very depressing.

Blandmum · 15/09/2006 21:24

I think that they are idiots.

Where they live is imaterial

agree martianbishop

SewingMadMummy · 15/09/2006 21:25

I am ashamed to say that this lot come from my town!! Yes I agree with you all that they are stupid arrogant fuckwits. Less than 2 weeks into new term is hardly giving new regime a fair chance. Have to say that not all us Rotherham folk are the same - My dd and her friends go to a "Healthy" school and we encourage fruit to go home with after and no fruit shoots!!!

SewingMadMummy · 15/09/2006 21:29

By the way the food was being delivered with a supermarket trolley through the fence between the school and the local cemetery.... About 50 orders in one day but every day 100 kids trying to place tomorrows order... silly buggers!!!

Cappuccino · 15/09/2006 21:33

rofl rofl rofl at 'caged animals'

imagining a scene like The Great Escape with them tunnelling in

a hand appearing suddenly in the middle of the hall floor, covered in earth and clutching a burger

alexsmum · 15/09/2006 21:38

this was on newsround today. the women were taking orders off the kids and the loading up insulated boxes with tons of takeaway and then posting it through the fence. literally. insane!!!!!!!!!!!

the other parents should take a stand.if i was giving my kid money for a school dinner and they were spending it on takeaway and being enabled to do that by some mad dingers i would go crazy!!!

Cappuccino · 15/09/2006 21:40

they actually don't strike me as mad on reflection

they actually strike me as very clever

they're coining it in - they've spotted a gap in the market and they've gone for it - knowing full well that their target market are like sheep with no sense

I bet they go home, feed their kids salad and quinoa and laugh like drains at all the fat little feckers they are sending home to their parents, all hyped up and full of MSG

theheadgirl · 15/09/2006 21:45

I was listening to an interview with the chip shop owner, which i think is callled.... "chubbys"!!! He said "them kids are starvin' in there, some of 'em are weak with 'unger when they come 'ere at tea time" Whilst i laughed hysterically at this, its sad really isn't it

hunkermunker · 15/09/2006 21:47

They're not mad, they are cunts.

theheadgirl · 15/09/2006 21:47

Btw, I love the term "fuckwit". Its just fantastic

surprise · 15/09/2006 22:15

lol cappuccino at them feeding their kids salad and quinoa. Has there been any comment from J O about this? Can't wait I'm sure he won't hold back. Can't believe that two fat old scrubbers have got so much attention. See, a lifelong diet of crap can lead to you being famous kids. Keep munching those chips and McDs and you too could appear on the 6 o'clock news in your best leggings.

sorrell · 15/09/2006 22:19

A stolen supermarket trolley to boot.

cece · 15/09/2006 22:21

when I saw this on the news I was flabberghasted. However, on reflection I think they are getting a cut of the takings from the chippy owner...

edam · 15/09/2006 22:22

Whoa, there, fat old scrubbers?! Nice mix of sexism and hatred for the working classes you've got going on.

Cappuccino · 15/09/2006 22:22

it had to be stolen

there's no underground rebellion feel to a 'borrowed' one

Cappuccino · 15/09/2006 22:24

cece of course they are

it's a carefully choreographed PR dream

sorrell · 15/09/2006 22:25

They weren't boasting about it being stolen. They were asked point-blank where it came from and they muttered, 'it's, erm, erm, borrowed'.

They are vile.

edam · 15/09/2006 22:30

Vile = middle class description for those members of the lower orders who are proving troublesome.

If they were middle-class, we'd be admiring their entrepeneurial spirit...

hunkermunker · 15/09/2006 22:31

I wouldn't be, Edam. I'd be calling them cunts.

I call a cunt a cunt, you see.

Cappuccino · 15/09/2006 22:32

I am admiring their entrepreneurial spirit
