In my fridge (US style fridge freezer) there is a clear perspex box

it has sides and a front, but a dip in a front .. it is the entire depth of the fridge but only about 8" high .. it has a ridged bottom

it does not fit cans of drink .. well it would fit one on its end but not wide enough for 2

it is not shaped for eggs

it is not a bottle holder

WTF is it??

hahaha Moo, lol at "Our stainless steel rack is not only a practical space?saver, but turns your eggs into a wonderful spiral sculpture."

marthamoo · 02/09/2006 14:42

I just knocked this up with a few eggs out of my fridge

SoupDragon · 02/09/2006 14:43

You could never use an egg though - it would ruin the display

SoupDragon · 02/09/2006 14:43

rofl!

Twiglett · 02/09/2006 14:44

I've been looking at fridge websites again. It's an egg storage bin.
Now I want a new fridge!

batoutofhell · 02/09/2006 15:02

Is it for fruit shoots??

PinkTulips · 02/09/2006 16:40

rofl at marthamoos link..... some people have way too much time on their hands!

princessmel · 02/09/2006 16:49

Hi, I'm back! Does no one agree with my idea that its a sausage keeper then?

Katymac · 02/09/2006 16:55

Would the can lie on it's side and stack - sort of width ways?

SoupDragon · 02/09/2006 16:57

It's an egg container! For those who either bulk buy eggs and only get them in flimsy trays raher than boxes or are American

Mercy · 02/09/2006 16:58

This thread is hilarious!! And I very nearly didn't click on it (can't think why)

Also lol at the ebay-seller flogging a bit of wood for a fiver

princessmel · 02/09/2006 17:13

Do its decided that its def an egg keeper then? Does everyone agree?

morningpaper · 02/09/2006 18:06

An egg keeper doesn't make sense to me

How do you know which eggs are freshest? What kind of stock rotation is possible here?

SoupDragon · 02/09/2006 18:39

It may not make sense but that is what the instruction manual labels it as.

It's actually fairly good for drinky yoghurts though.

SoupDragon · 02/09/2006 18:39

I do agree that is is cr*p for an egg keeper.

If an egg has gone off it will float. I'm not wasting good ink writing on eggs .
