In my fridge (US style fridge freezer) there is a clear perspex box

it has sides and a front, but a dip in a front .. it is the entire depth of the fridge but only about 8" high .. it has a ridged bottom

it does not fit cans of drink .. well it would fit one on its end but not wide enough for 2

it is not shaped for eggs

it is not a bottle holder

WTF is it??

Oh I dunno Twiglett. I felt it contained your egg rather well.

SoupDragon · 02/09/2006 14:30

Do American's buy eggs in bulk or something? You can fit about 2 dozen inthere. It is exactly the right width for a half dozen carton from Waitrose though.

dh is wondering why i'm laughing like a woman posessed...tried to explain but he just looked at me like I wasn't fit to raise his chld! ROFL....

Moo, bung the wine glasses in the dishwasher. Life. Is. Too. Short.

SoupDragon · 02/09/2006 14:32

It looks nice because it;s being put to its proer use.

If you look at my picture you can see what happens to the drawer if you shut the fridge door without shutting the drawer first.

SoupDragon · 02/09/2006 14:32

proper use.

SoupDragon · 02/09/2006 14:33

What's that hiding under your garlic, Twiglett?

marthamoo · 02/09/2006 14:33

My eggs aren't in the fridge anyway they are in a nice chrome wire chicken (looks better than it sounds!). They aren't refrigerated in the supermarket or farm shops etc.

It must be for something that would fall out of the fridge if unrestrained. I vote for pick'n'mix .

Twiglett · 02/09/2006 14:37

I had to just double-check the pic soupy (too lazy to get up and walk to fridge) .. under the garlic will be a tube of weightwatchers fruities .. .. why what's under your garlic?

OP posts:
SoupDragon · 02/09/2006 14:37

We have a wire chicken too. It has golf balls in though!

Tinker · 02/09/2006 14:37

My garlic is in a terracotta jar in the cupboard, not the fridge

WideWebWitch · 02/09/2006 14:40

Twig, please do post a photo of your messy kitchen, go on!

marthamoo · 02/09/2006 14:41

This is what you need for your eggs

Pixel · 02/09/2006 14:42
