Tidying up, and sorting out stuff for new baby, due in 2 weeks. But I can't be arsed

mrspink27 · 23/08/2006 13:23

ironing, packing up house for a move, cooking a casserole for tonights tea, the list is endless, in between here and chucking bottles and messages about, not much is getting done!

ComeOVeneer · 23/08/2006 13:26

Nothing really (although I could go and throw on a load of washing), house is clean and tidy (still in the trows of having people viewing so have to keep it spick and span). DS is napping and ddis happily gluing a collage together on the floor next to me. May bake some bread a bit later if I can be arsed.

spangles · 23/08/2006 13:31

veneer you sound so organised, my boys are upstairs screaming and shouting and i know they have just emptied massive box of brio and mega bloks all over. meanwhile downstairs i am on here and DD is on my knee and the dishes are still on the table from dinner time
DH will be home from work soon so i better shift my lazy arse

Tutter · 23/08/2006 13:32

doing chores while ds is asleep.

as it is i am MNing with a coffee. when ds wakes up no doub i shall run around like a blue-arsed fly sorting washing while i watch him.

but i do like my quiet MN time

noseymum · 23/08/2006 13:33

Going to the supermarket.

southeastastra · 23/08/2006 13:35

just boring tidying up been out this morning so am just doing nothing while children fight, play and generally boss me about.

PinkTulips · 23/08/2006 13:37

nothing for a change!

dd's having a nap on dp on the couch, ds is asleep upstairs, upstairs is clean and tidy, nappies are in the wash, wet washing is hung, dry washing is folded and put away and theres no point tidying dd's toys as she'll pull them all out again 2 mins after she wakes up.

guilt free MNing for a change!

working I am having a bad day through lack of sleep... I shall be working at odd hours to make up for my lack of motivation today!

milward · 23/08/2006 13:45

Putting off ds4 nappy - hope it holds out abit longer..... I'm immune to the smell now luckily

IdrisTheDragon · 23/08/2006 13:45

It's my lunch break at work so for once I feel it is OK to be on here .

cardy · 23/08/2006 13:46

working....in an open plan office, hope nobody can see!

iamapieceofcheesecake · 23/08/2006 13:48

Nothing. Mum and Dad are looking after ds for a bit. So for a change I do not feel guilty about being on here and not paying my babe the attention he deserves!

ComeOVeneer · 23/08/2006 13:48

I find the trick is to get everything done in the morning before I turn the computer on and get sucked into MN.

milward · 23/08/2006 13:49

Hope all is going well for you idris - can't believe first birthdays are coming up!!

SleepyJess · 23/08/2006 13:51

scotchick · 23/08/2006 14:32

ilovecaboose · 23/08/2006 14:39

prettymum · 23/08/2006 14:41

looking after my daughter!!

EvesMama · 23/08/2006 14:41

have used those new flash wipes with scratchy side and smoth side, but its still faint..will have to plonk some domestos on it and let it sit..i must add floor is vinyl/ruber/non slip flooring in a tasteful shade of speckly green..the red actually makes an improvment
