I dont know how to search for a sellers id.........anyone?

southeastastra · 01/08/2006 14:01

i've looked and wouldn't worry at this stage, they seemed to have joined in march, but have been bidding on a few baby things today. not just yours!

southeastastra · 01/08/2006 14:02

advanced search top right waterfalls

fuzzywuzzy · 01/08/2006 14:02

lisa, when you put up a listing you get an option to block people with less than 1 feedback.

If you feel this person isn't for real you can cancel all bids and start again but block this persons ID, and also block anyone with less than 5 feedback....
Or if it turns out they'ren ot for real, you can put up a non paying bidder alert, which will get your listing fee and finaly fee refunded (providing this person wins).

Or just email them and ask them nicely they may just be a new mum to be and very excited, and she might just think you've put up great bargains (which does sound to be the case)....

click on the persons id
then on the right hand side there's a little blue box with a list ie items for sale etc. There is also a white button which says contact member.... press it and email away.

Salamander · 01/08/2006 14:11

Hi Lisalisa

click on her name debora8631 when it is blue and underlined
that will take you to her Profile page

Top right there is Contact Member.

There you can send her a message.

fuzzywuzzy · 01/08/2006 14:11

for what it's worth I sold my P&T a while back, the person who bought it had zero feedback and was new too but she paid up .... but didn't leave feedback

Salamander · 01/08/2006 14:11

SNAP!

Salamander · 01/08/2006 14:12

She could just be a new person looking to make her first purchases - here's hoping!

southeastastra · 01/08/2006 14:12

yes relax! we sell on ebay and have a prob at the moment too, its such a pain

Salamander · 01/08/2006 14:13

Also she's been a member since March so it probably isn't just someone who has gone on there especially to freak you out.

Salamander · 01/08/2006 14:13

March 2005 actually!

i know, put on a reserve next time or have a higher start price? you don't have long to go on this lot..

Salamander · 01/08/2006 14:54

You should have put a higher starting bid Lisa
I've done the same before

FrannyandZooey · 01/08/2006 14:54

Lisa, the price could go up in the last few minutes so I hope you have some better luck. Your buyer looks kosher to me - she is bidding on and has bought baby clothes, a cot and some toys. I would guess she has just had a baby

If you would not mind me giving a word of advice - in future I would iron the clothes before photographing them. Please don't take that the wrong way - I never iron anything we wear at home - but bundles of baby clothes is a very competitive selling area and you really need to present the clothes to their best advantage. I can see the clothes are good quality and in good condition but many buyers would just take a quick look and pass on.

I hope this helps.
