How did you see what the bidder has bid on and bought so far Franny?

start with the lowest price you will let it go for

fuzzywuzzy · 01/08/2006 15:13

Salamander do an advanced search
Then search by bidder

FrannyandZooey · 01/08/2006 15:15

Oh sorry lisa

Salamander - go to advanced search, click on search by bidder and enter the bidder's name.

I think a low starting price is good - I think you did the right thing there. However ultimately although these clothes are "worth" £150 on eBay they are only worth what people are willing to pay for them. Next time I would choose a different finish time as well - the weekend, or at least an evening - many people with young babies are going to be busy right now.

Ahh I see. thanks Fuzzy!

i think this is a genuine bidder and I really wouldn't worry about it LisaLisa

They are also selling something.
She wouldn't want to damager heputation by being a failed payer.

Probably a very nice lady who is having a baby.
Maybe you should invite her on MN

Salamander · 01/08/2006 15:22

damage her reputation! Sorry

Also Lisa, ebay is like MN.
Most people on there are really nice and just want to help each other.
The bad things are a rarity thankfully.

Good luck in future.

I have just listed a couple bundles of girls clothes, i end mine between 7 and 10pm and i use loads of pictures and close ups, i use a web site called photobucket to cut and paste pictures onto my listing, you can put as many photos on your listing as you want and it does'nt cost anything (not like e-bay picture prices) i also iron all my items before i take my photo's.

I try and sell 15-20 items a week (im clearing out the loft)

I think the postage costs put people off of buying bundles and its worth selling the good bits on they're own or on MN.
