Eve Magzine is out!!

and its the one with Thomcat in! Not had chance to read it yet, got all giddy in Tesco's when I saw it was out. All I can say is Lottie is gorgeous.

Will read leisurely over lunch and report back.

Twinkie , I finally tracked down the Eve magazine today. I must say Lottie looks like such an adorable and loving child , what a cutie. I am so glad her heart is ok. What wonderful words, made me cry reading it.

It was important to me to find it as they suspected DS in our little girl the first days in hospital.I soo related to your words. The first question they asked me when the paeds came in was "did I have a chinese family" I knew immediately that this is what they suspected. Her eyes were very swollen and wide and had a heavy lids above and below, as in DS. She went to get a senior consultant to thoroughly check her over for other signs. I had to wait in my room on my own for half an hour, I couldnt believe I was so calm and estoic and I didnt care what the outcome was, If my life was meant to be about this then that was what was meant to be. It turned out that her eyes were the the only marker and nothing else was apparent and said she was perfectly ok. It was a relief and I cried all afternoon. I felt guilty about crying from the relief , but in a way I was pleased it happened as it tested me as to my reaction and showed me I had uncondidiional love I had never known before.

I didnt care if she was DS, as she was my angel from heaven.A tradition in our religion is to have 2nd name which is hebrew .We named her Brocheh ,meaning a blessing.
