Does Mick Jagger have Marfan Syndrome?

Pretty random question, I know, but he was on TV strutting and I thought he has that weird long arm, long leg, long fingers, flat feet, sticky out chest, long face kinda look (most attractive I can tell you, especially on a strutting grandad!), and it dawned on me...Marfans Syndrome. Googled and asked Jeeves but no-one is giving it away if he has!
Anyone know or got a link to shed some light? Maybe he doesn't know he has it! Oh bugger...

I think he's just skinny. Usually people with Marfan syndrome are tall iirc & Mick is only 5'8/5'9.

Sneets · 13/10/2013 00:50

He had some dandy sort-of odd boot things going on...
Not convinced he hasn't got it even though he ain't a giant.

I suppose if your 4ft then 5ft 9 is rather tall Wink

If he has, it's none of our business

HTH

yeghoulsandlittledevils · 13/10/2013 07:21

I'm surprised, I always thought he was taller than that.

Have never heard of Marfen's Syndrome.

Sneets · 13/10/2013 07:27

Tomcat, I know it's not. But just asking. I'm inquisitive. Don't post much. What's HTH?

He is a bit short to have MS.

Apparently Michel Jackson may have had a connective tissue order.

Sneets · 13/10/2013 07:34

Littledevils, it's very interesting reading is Marfans's. I tend to research unusual stuff for no apparent reason! I generally like wasting my life, and I'm a nurse! And the older I get the more I admire the staying power of the Rolling Stones! Strutting like funky old men you'd avoid like mad in the pub.

Most stuff that gets posted isn't our business. That's what makes it fun.
I remeber someone.said the same about Miranda Hart possibly having it? Think the outcome was 'inconclusive'.

Sneets · 13/10/2013 07:35

Deepfried, along with vitiligo.

deepfriedsage · 13/10/2013 07:39

Is that why he was on strong pain relief and had abscesses from injection sites?

Apparently a lot of performance artists are hypermobile.

Sneets · 13/10/2013 07:40

True dopeysheep. I'm usually just a reader on MN and I have found same amazingly titilarious stuff! ??
Recently browsed the 'sex beaker' thread that went mental. Had some mad laughs to self.
Still not sure on 'HTH'. ?

Mick Jagger turns my stomach. Have never seen the appeal of him, even looking at footage from the 60s.

Is Miranda not a bit well padded to have Marfans?

tumbletumble · 13/10/2013 07:43

HTH is hope that helps

LazyGaga · 13/10/2013 07:43

Hope that helps - HTH.

Often a bit passive aggressive (see above).

Sneets · 13/10/2013 07:44

Can't speak ill of the dead. Not going into Jacko conversation!!!!!

Whilst looking up Jagger I incidentally found stuff on stars heights and apparently Bono is 5ft 7. Angry my childhood is ruined. Next i'll be told Robert Smith was a girl...

Hth is hope that helps. I'm off to Google marfans syndrome

deepfriedsage · 13/10/2013 07:46

The body shape fits, clumsiness fits. She said she went to get checked out.

fanjolina · 13/10/2013 07:46

I would say HTH is very passive aggressive.

Normally used by supercilious twats.

meditrina · 13/10/2013 07:47

I always wondered if one of The Wiggles had Marfans (my DC must be more grown up that I thought, as I can't remember all their names!)

Sneets · 13/10/2013 07:47

Thanks Gaga. Seems it might have been posted that way...
'Baby we were born this way!' Many pop stars are odd looking. I LOVE Thom Yorke and that's not right!

OP posts:
deepfriedsage · 13/10/2013 07:48

It's not speaking ill of the dead. Professor Rodney Grahame seems to think MJ was hypermobile.

meditrina · 13/10/2013 07:51

The Wiggle I meant is Murray Cook (original line up, in red, with guitar a lot of the time).

Sneets · 13/10/2013 07:51

Crikey, I so don't fancy Jagger though his energy and va va voom on stage totally impressed me.

yeghoulsandlittledevils · 13/10/2013 07:52

Not everyone uses hth passive agresively! It is possible to use it with a genuine desire to be helpful.
