my first must be..
there only being thier bath towels in bathroom, so when youve washed your hands after using the loo..you could be wiping them on front bum/back bum/willy parts!!!...bleeergh!

OK [getting sucked in now] but you only use a towel after washing so surely a clean bum is the same as a clean hand?

foxinsocks · 30/06/2006 20:31

I had also never thought of the bath towel thing

I just shove a bath towel where the hand towel should be

CountessDracula · 30/06/2006 20:31

not if you have tag nuts and have failed to get them all off

SenoraPostrophe · 30/06/2006 20:31

nowt wrong with not using soap either if you have dry skin.

fisil · 30/06/2006 20:31

I thought it was very stylish actually!

expatinscotland · 30/06/2006 20:32

air freshners. they ming.

EvesMama · 30/06/2006 20:32

lol hunker

never mind dry soap..soap full stop..and sitting on soap dish on bath..what else has been washed with it????!!(am guilty of this one, but also have handwash on sink!..so can redeem myself!)

OP posts:
SenoraPostrophe · 30/06/2006 20:32

arrrgh @ tag nuts

SoupDragon · 30/06/2006 20:33

How do you know people don't wipe their freshly showered arse on the hand towel?

EvesMama · 30/06/2006 20:33

lol dont wana go now, this is gunna be fun

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 30/06/2006 20:33

I'd rather have dry skin and cracks on my fingers/thumbs (which I do, incidentally) and use hand cream than not use soap after going to the loo.

foxinsocks · 30/06/2006 20:33

why would you be sitting on the soap dish?

EvesMama · 30/06/2006 20:34

LOLsoupy..always one!!

OP posts:
EvesMama · 30/06/2006 20:34

Greensleeves · 30/06/2006 20:34

Evesmama, are you saying that soap in a bathroom is yuck, full stop? My head is spinning here

SenoraPostrophe · 30/06/2006 20:35

but if you have dry skin there's so little oil you don't need soap. that's my point (soap works by removing the oil you see)

Thomcat · 30/06/2006 20:35

Blimey - do you lot really think all these things when you go to other peoples houses?
I don't give a toss to be be totally honest. I mean now it's been pointed out the thought of wiping my hands where the man of the house has used it to dry the crack of his backside makes me retch!

But the only thing that makes me go ugggghhhh is there not being enough food or wine! Other than that I'm happy to be out and being entertained!

Mercy · 30/06/2006 20:35

at towels. We always have a separate hand towel in the loo and bathroom

Agree re cat and dogs - and their food left festering in their bowls for hours on end. Yuk.

A good sprinkling of pubes around the toilet bowl makes me heave

EvesMama · 30/06/2006 20:36

no greensleeves, just when its on the bath and is the only option for you to wash your hands..esp if theirs a few little curly hairs on it!

Why did I get an angry face Evesmama?

WigWamBam · 30/06/2006 20:37

Dd's friend's house is a real mess ... dog hair everywhere, piles of stuff everywhere with just a pathway cleared to get from one room to another, dirty clothes strewn everywhere ... and do you know, I don't give a damn. She's lovely, her kids are lovely, they're brilliant company - who cares what the house is like? It's a lovely happy home, despite looking like a bombsite - and it's the people I go there to see, not the state of the dado rails.

Plus my house isn't perfect ... so I'm not really in a position to criticise!

Greensleeves · 30/06/2006 20:37

Ah... so is it OK to have soap on a dish on the bath, if it doesn't have curly hairs on it and if there is handwash on the sink? I'm on tenterhooks here

EvesMama · 30/06/2006 20:37

i was agreeing with you and trying to pull a 'bleuurgh face..sorry

OP posts:
EvesMama · 30/06/2006 20:38
