We missed you last night...

Spoke to her on Tuesday night. She'll be around again (mnet) in a week or so. She's fine - lots of snow where she is which she says looks v pretty.

Sort of. Hope last night was good. I'm renting a cottage near Stockport at Easter - lots of friends/family there and FF and I are going to drink a pub dry one night.

We'll do our best ..... it could be dangerous as I think we're both rather fond of the odd vat or two of wine.

Last night was great, it was lovely to meet beety and Mr beety and the Faraday lecture was interesting if baffling. (frequencies, hertzes etc.) I'd never been to Bridgewater Hall either so that was exciting too. (ds1 went on a school trip, he got to see the giant springs in the basement!)

If you're going to be up at Easter should we try to arrange a Mancs meetup then? Are you up for a whole week?

Intrigued by the "cottage" in Stockport

Tinker - NEAR - Stockport. I don't really fancy a holiday next door to the precinct .... I've got somewhere in Hayfield that I may book, really wanted Mellor but no luck. Don't want to go too far into Derbyshire as family is in Hazel Grove/Disley. Any suggestions?

Not sure, stressy - but I actually LIVE in Godstone village - the farm is only five minutes up the road - not very good at big meet ups, though. Have you been before - it's great for childrem Had DD1's third birthday party there.

Ahem, actually JanH, I am in Chadderton NEAR the dreaded Oldham town centre and I will have you know I am in the nicer bit of it. Have lived here for nearly 2 years and still think it is crap . Searching for the hidden gems.

No, just met SB. Oh, yes and met Pupuce a long time ago - only other mnet meetup I've done. Hope the weather is good - although there's a big indoor play barn/soft area - and another indoor things where they have little bikes/tractors and things. Loads to do. It's lovely in the summer, lots of animals and loads and loads of outdoor play stuff.
