PC experts, why is the writing microscopic small on most web pages?

Ds must have been fiddling with the pc again, and alot of websites I go to the writing is impossibly small to read.

Are you on 'full screen'? Press F11 and see if the view changes. If it does and you now have a bit that says View, click it, then click text size and change it to suit.

Otherwise right click on the bit of toolbar you have and click customize - you may be able to find the view button there.

What have you got at the very top of the screen? There might be a blue strip which would say something like Mumsnet Discussions - PC experts, why... and at the end of the text mine says Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Yes , I have that, but my only optiona are, 'help and settings' and that is only to customise my home page, like change my password, or picture.
