Not a PC expert but this has happened to me and I find that if you click on edit, then text size, you can make it bigger (or smaller).

PiccadillyCircus · 24/04/2006 10:55

Bother - not edit. Click on View Blush

pepperpots · 24/04/2006 10:55

If you click on view and go to text size you can pick from small medium large etc ...

pepperpots · 24/04/2006 10:56

PC beat me too it Smile

waterfalls · 24/04/2006 10:57

what browser are you using ?

waterfalls · 24/04/2006 10:58

OP posts:
throckenholt · 24/04/2006 11:03

is that a browser ? I am none the wiser then.

Look for something along the top that allows you to set preferences or settings - somewhere there should be something like appearance or font settings - you can change the default size.

pepperpots · 24/04/2006 11:04

along the top you will have options that start file, edit, view etc..

waterfalls · 24/04/2006 11:06

I tried that in system set-up, but it only it does'nt change.

for example \link{http://www.dwp.gov.uk/lifeevent/benefits/council_tax_benefit.asp\this} I can hardly see, yet MN is fine.

OP posts:
waterfalls · 24/04/2006 11:08

The only page I have those options along the top are in 'paint' otherwise I just have GO, STOP, PRINT, REFRESH.

I don't think its in system set up its on the toolbar running across the top of the screen

MrsBadger · 24/04/2006 11:10

hold down the Control key and press +

text should get bigger

pepperpots · 24/04/2006 11:10

what about if you ho to your homepage? What software do you use? if microsoft then go to microsoft home page and try the troubleshooting section

waterfalls · 24/04/2006 11:11

I have never had the toolbar along when on the net, only in paint, and word etc.

OP posts:
waterfalls · 24/04/2006 11:14

No, that dont work either, ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I could do a system restore, but if I lose anything of dh, he will kill me, lol

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 24/04/2006 11:20

there's no need for a sys restore - what browser are you using?
(NB MSN is not a browser - it's prob either Internet Explorer or Firefox - either ring a bell? What pic does it have in the top left corner when a page is loading?

schneebly · 24/04/2006 11:21

weird-I have been having this problem too but thanks picadilly - your solution worked for me!
Waterfalls - I hope you manage to sort it out Smile

waterfalls · 24/04/2006 11:24

Internet Explorer rings a bell, but no picture in the corner when a page is loading.
