summer is coming and i'm sure all good mothers are now wondering what their little darlings will be wearing on the beach this year....

do we go for:

the neoprene stay warm option? (note: no nappy insert)

the baby swimsuit/trunks (with built in nappy)

the sun protection suit (no nappy)

bog standard trunks/costume

just a swim nappy

nothing

obviously will be using sun cream and a gigantic hat..... your thoughts please, on this pressing issue!

would focus more on how to stop kids becoming crack heads as teenagers. if you force em to wear flouro sunsuits they are goning to rebel some how.

Indoors!!! carcenogenic!!

mykidsmum · 17/04/2006 22:44

And a jumper for when the sun goes in Grin

cod · 17/04/2006 22:45

flummy

cool it!

VeniVidiVickiQV · 17/04/2006 22:45

Surely just suncream and swim nappy is fine for occasional beach visiting in the uk then?

Passionflower · 17/04/2006 22:45

Have to say I don't understand the sun suit thing. We live on the beach all summer, DD2 is a blondie by the way but what is wrong with swimmers and a t-shirt, sun cream on face, arms and legs.

Am in the cod camp on this.

starlover · 17/04/2006 22:45

good, that is the answer I wanted. you can all go now! lol

actually.... should I go for the trunks in a plain colour? checks? a seaside print?

oh the choices, the choices! no-one told me motherhood would be so hard

trunks....carcen...

eidsvold · 17/04/2006 22:52

swim nappy with UV suit, legionaaires cap in uv fabric, lots of sunscreen... along with uv tent to lay in. And do not be out on the beach between 10 and 3......

Cod when you come from the sun cancer capital of the world you do worry about sun....when you see old wrinkly women who would have done the reef oil/baby oil in their youth and now look about 100 and also have the sun cancer to go with - you worry about the sun.

starlover · 17/04/2006 22:52
