I read in a magazine, that she has recently intentionaly lost weight and is now happy as a size 4 Shock something to do with a catwalk job she has coming up.

Well obviously not, but equally I don't believe everything I read in the press or listen to gossip (liar, liar, pants on fire)

Why bother going out and booking a private room for a mouthful of peas? More money than sense obv. But not sure I believe it tbh, it's part of the conspiracy against us natural skinny mins!

But look back to her Spice Girls days - she looked just fine then. Now she looks so unnatural. What kind of values are her children going to grow up with, if they see their mum obsessing about food and their dad off shagging other women (probably ones that don't spend every minute of the day thinking about their weight)

my friend used to have a restaurant where she and her hubby would go to .. and he said she'd order one small dish and only pick at bits.
she looks kinda forced and almost like joan collins (who is lovely) .. those awful eyebrows!!

nulnulcat - the thing about VB though is that she was never so thin when she started out in the Spice Girls - in fact she looked heaps better then imo. That's why people assume she is on some unhealthy diet. I think she is nice looking but is definitely too thin and it's making her look kind of older than she is and frail.

I've heard rumours about her eating only peas before - on a documentary Andy Peters (who was describing what happened when he produced "An Audience with The Spice Girls) said it was all she would eat.

this thread is a bit out of order imo. I'm a size 6 and some of my 6's are loose on me. Some people are skinny and can't help it. I've always been slim, the biggest I've ever been is an 8 (apart from pregnancy) the weight dropped off me as soon as I'd given birth both times.
And I do eat Shock

People should lay off her. If she's got an eating disorder, then that's really sad, but maybe she's just naturally thin...... as already said, if this thread was about someone being fat there would be an outcry

I'm another natural skinny.I weigh 8st 3lb after having 2 babies & am 5ft 7.I wish I could put on weight,but it just drops off me.I can't buy clothes in some shops bevause the size 8's are still too big.Its not always great being skinny.

Mind you,I'm no fan of VB & a plate of peas does not constitute a meal IMO.

Dd has some jeans that she got in the states which are size 0. They fitted her when she was 10 1/2. At the grand old age of 12 she can't fit into them. And she is skinny, with a size 28" chest!

Have just measured myself for the first time in years, waist 24 and hips 31 and I took a deep breath and chest is 30 (can't really say bust - 2 pimples more like)

i can still remember a few years back (ok when i was 21) for two months looking for the perfect outfit for our works christmas party. i eventually bought a size 8 skirt that i didnt really like and had to take it in on the hips. i had come out of that shop crying with frustration. it didnt matter what i ate, the weight just dropped off.

now im struggling into size 12 clothes, im about a 13 really Smile as a 14 is too big. im completely the opposite, i just cant lose any weight! (and i still come out of shops frustrated).

the grass is always greener eh! Grin

I don't believe for one second that she has naturally lost the weight. Who naturally loses weight to the point where you can see bones without having some kind of illness?

IMO she has deliberatly lost the weight. Be it for her career, marriage whatever.

I have always had a bit of a soft spot for Mrs B but I think she is an idiot for doing this to herself.

I think she does it because she is under tremendous pressure, with being a footballers wife, who allegedly (sp) has slept with other women, I think she feels her weight is the only thing she has control of. I really do feel for herSad

I agree Nbg and waterfalls. kama - it is arguably easier to put on weight after you've had a child than to be a size 10 at 19, then a size 4 after three children imo.

True kama, but usually for a reason. Rarely just by chance, especially when we're talking about massive weight loss after 3 kids.

The thing that always strikes me about her is how bloody unhappy she looks. If she just smiled now and again we might all stop feverishly speculating about her thigh circumference.

Never thought I'd say it, but I do actually feel sorry for her. I think she's created this monster in 'Brand Beckham' and she can see it all crashing down around her ears pretty soon. I wouldn't swap with her, not even for a crack at her husband Grin
