Reading about toys on another thread made me recall names of teddies and how they sometimes have un-teddy like names.

Mine was called Fritz (my Dad bought him when he went on a trip to Germany just before I was born)
My brothers was called Andrew (classic example of un-teddy like name!) Smile

What was yours called?

It was a bunny though!

WigWamBam · 09/03/2006 19:56

Mine was uninspired ... he was a Koala bear called Tucker. I had another one called Tingah as well. My sister's was called Marmalade (Marmy for short).

Blue Ted.

Sorry. He was a teddy, and he was blue. And he is sitting on the shelf in ds2's bedroom right now.

This thread reminds me of a story about dh's cousin. At about 3-4 years old she was at a gathering when an old family frined came over and asked what the beatiful doll she was holding was called. DH's cousin then screwed up her face in a menacing way, put her hands into claws and said "HOOKRAA". Shock

BettySpaghetti · 09/03/2006 19:58

Fisil, Fritz is on shelf in my DDs room too -she has no interest in him though as hes old , has stuffing coming out and part of his mouth missing Sad

Boopert, do you mean that it makes you feel ill to looka t one (or too tempted Wink).
I luckily went off alcohol with my two, other than the odd slurp from DPs glass of wine every now and again

Angeliz · 09/03/2006 20:21

Boopert · 09/03/2006 20:22

Completely and utterly off it. Not even the slightest desire to neck a bottle.
Even if in food i feel violently ill!

Sorry, back to what you were all saying.
