for a few years now i've wanted to have a tattoo on my arse!! Finally, yesterday, at age 39, I actually had it done and I love it! DH was rather surprised about it, but also finds it very attractive. Just wanted to share that one with you all, coz I probably won't be telling a lot of my RL friends! Def a mid life crisis I reckon.

fair play MABS, ive got a tattoo on my upper back and half the time i forget that its there. had it done in new zealand, and think it's pretty, [sort of symbol thing for my sister who i lost]. otherwise not really into them just wanted something in respect to my sis x

MABS · 17/02/2006 19:47

Thanks Cyan, I don't have any good reason like that, but I do think it's pretty.

Your title does sound like you just woke up and found it there!

RedZuleika · 17/02/2006 19:50

Good on you. I had one done years ago and it's so much part of me now, I forget it's there (until I go swimming and small children point...).

What's with the scaly parping...???

jalopy · 17/02/2006 19:51

Not too keen on tatoos, but you've chosen a good place to indelibly inscribe on your integument. At least when you older you can wear big pants to cover it up.

MrsSpoon · 17/02/2006 19:58

Was it sore?

messagedeleted · 17/02/2006 19:59

( whispers hate them think scummya nd yuk and =green colour is foul and look dead rough)

cyan · 17/02/2006 20:01

why do you think they look scummy?! i must admit giant british bulldogs and ones emblazoned with I LOVE MUM are a bit OTT for me

LadyTophamHatt · 17/02/2006 20:01

JoolsToo · 17/02/2006 20:04

MABS · 17/02/2006 20:05

messagedeleted · 17/02/2006 20:05

has the bat any jt?

bev1e · 17/02/2006 20:05

Did you have to expose your bum to the tattooist? Don't think I could trust myself not to blow off whilst it was being done!

Whizzz · 17/02/2006 20:05

Is it the MN bat ??

cupcakes · 17/02/2006 20:05

I've never seen one on an elderly person which hasn't bleed and turned a yucky sludgy colour.

harpsichordcarrier · 17/02/2006 20:06

Oh god bev I never thought of that ...
